Until your order has not been credit checked the information for the stock and delivery of the item will not show. I ordered from them before and the same thing happened to me and I rang and asked and that is the explanation they gave me.

Hope this helps
Cheers

I ended up ordering from e2save and the order is sitting at 'we have not located stock yet'. looks like it could be some time...

I went to cpw and took along a printout of the e2save offer. I got the the phone for free on o2 100 (tha same as e2save). As they could not offer the 4 months half price line rental that e2save were offering, they gave me a 256mb memory card instead. I should have the phone on thursday or friday.

SE-Naz,

I have ordered twice from O2 and even after they confirm that the order has been passed on to the warehouse for despatch, evem then it does not display the delivery information. But once it gets despatch then it starts to show it. Its a bit odd because the last handset I ordered was a few months back and still displays delivery information.

The order I made for k800i passed the credit check, and I got email that my order is ready for despatch, then I got another message that the goods are out of stock. Its been over a week and still no delivery information on the website.

If you look across to the right you should see "view my bill", "my mobile" and next is "my order". The first option in that list should enable you to check your order but I know that I've had this option missing until a later stage of an order previously.

Good luck

It won't help unfortunately. They simply aren't able to pre-order for upgrades. It's a farce as they have a different stock for them - which are all out now it seems.

Apparently they were still taking new orders even though the pre-orders ate all the stock they had - I bet they diverted upgrade stock.

Not amused really!

Edit: Just had a call from my 'friend' (in senior O2 office, not giving her name I'm afraid). It seems they haven't even had the stock in at O2 online but they know they're coming which is why they're taking orders. It's showing deprovisioning failed because they can't attach and IMEI to the order in the system. This will change once the items come in. If you have an order number apparently you will get one as they know how many they're getting and therefore can sell.

She did confirm there is a little bit of 'preferred customer' treatment going on too - but that stands to reason for upgrades.

The "coming soon" has been removed from the K800 on the UK site now. Along with the M600, K310, W300 and K610. Also the support page is now fully up.

preferred customer treatment..

i feel like i'm getting none at the moment, and my bills are quite big (avg between 55 - 75 per month)

i might as well give my money to t-mobile, because at least they want to help....

Completely appreciate what you're saying. On the flip side and putting my business head on I have to say that some of the highest revenue generating customers are those that don't use the network - instead just paying their monthly fee (I'm one of them!).

I think we'd all be surprised how many customers go on to supply but don't toll on a monthly basis even on the £45 a month tariffs.

It's very crafty of 02 then. The woman upgraded me and said that the phone would take 3-5 working days, but most probably would arrive on Friday. They're basically LYING then?
