Sorry got some problem when flashing my k750c to W800i
1. When i do the flashing for step 2, a error come out like this

i think this step only work with RED Cid 36. not the Brown ones...

man... try to download the FS and Main Files from topsony site (www.topsony.com) you must register there to access download area.
choose the FS and Main files from there, and then do it again...
remember to leave the cell with a full battery charge!!!!

there are any kind of problem when we delete this files???
i think about it when i found the files... but i didnīt try...
by this way, we could kickin off the sounds off of my mobile, and could took pics without a sound!!!

Maybe you have to convert your CID to RED before flashing, try use service cable and setool2

Just use latest version of Davinci , for me it worked (13.7 works only for firmwares released up to that version).

You need the .BIN files from TOPSONY not the .DVT files from DaVinci...

And what is the difference between bin's and dvt's?
I already had dvt's downloaded from sonyericsson official ftp so I did not go to topsony, and as my dvt's worked I did not mind about that, thinking topsony had dvt's too.
Would have been better using bin's?

Not sure but I noticed that the play now icon in my menu wasn't being replaced with custom icon, so I tweaked menu.ml and now it works fine. I still can't get the operator menu (2nd option) to change it's icon though.

However note in element 2 that even though it clearly specifies the image, the operator log still appears instead the custom icon. I'm working on it - hopefully there is an answer via fs access and doesn't need access to the main flash. Tried some small and large icons and not convinced yet that the size is the problem per se.
It is however possible to change the menu that comes up when you select the operator menu. In tpapresetcustomwapopmenudefault (think that is the correct path) yuo will see an index,html file. This is the html file that displays the operator custom menu when you select the second main menu option. If you update that file you should copy it to tpapresetsystemwapopmenudefault otherwise you need a master reset to activate the changes.
Now when I select the operator menu my own html page with my favourite mobile hyperlinks appears instead. You could also use paths to local phone content for hyperlinking I imagine.

Correct - I have done this exact thing and it works as you suggest - just plop the new images in place - no need to change menu.ml

okay I deleted the operator menu logos, now need to do a master reset I feel to register the xml file
Anyway, so far I have done the following mods:
Custom customize.xml with these fields customised:
initial date
timezone
internet accounts
default account
home page for default account
Enable suppress camera noise "true"
Preset Theme (set to orangeline.thm, and orangeline.thm file copied to \tpa\preset\custom\themes - yet to test that on master reset)
Have tried the halmer cert but it isn't appearing in my certificate store?
Custom Menus
I have used the orange menu icon set from se-nse (the backstreet set) to go with the orangeline theme. It looks awesome. Very W810'ish.
I have modified menu.ml to rename the media player to "walkman", and also to point to the backstreet icons. I have more plans for the menu.ml, example get rid of the play now menu for something custom.
Custom Operator Menu
Half done here. I have deleted the operator logos so that the operator menu (internet services) now displays the backstreet icon and not the optus branded icon. Have also edited the index.html file in \tpa\preset\custom\wap\opmenu\default so that when I press the operator menu it opens up my own html page with links to mobile sites I use often.
Next step is to rename the operator menu (It still says Optus Zoo).
After all that I hope finally be able to somehow remove the optus softkey on the standby screen and set it to the index.html I created for the opmenu.
This program is so cool.

Thanks for the tips all, I used 13.7 as I'd read that it has worked before for someone, but the later version did the trick, and it's a W800 now.

I'm holding off on w800 incase there is a activity menu fix come available...
edit: "play now" GONE! Using this hack you can change it to whatever. I changed "playnow" to Opera Mini. Whoot
