Also need to sync my qtek 8310 with mac, but can't find any clients that support it. Any ideas on that one?

The Missing Sync v2.5 will support your qtek 8310 - only trouble is it's not yet released...

As far as your iPhoto problem goes, I would suggest backing up your current iPhoto library, then delete it and start iPhoto. Let it create a new library and then add photos a few at a time. If it still does it with even just one photo, then that suggests there's something wrong with the OS. Otherwise it could just be a few dodgy photos.

yep saw the sync thing, but as you siad its not released lol

will have ago with the iphoto thing sometime soon, but will do it over the weekend

ooooh any idea on how i get my mac to bits? i see i can buy more ram for it and fit it myself but dunno how to take this thing apart?

right,

trying to partition my hd s i can install XP. need to run disc utilty yet how do i get it to work?

if i put my os x dvd in, i can either press c or d on start up, D just does a hardware check and C looks like its go nna format my hdd and start again!

what do i do to get disk utility to run from the dvd??

Installing Boot Camp allows you to re-partition your HD 'on-the-fly' so you shouldn't need to use Disk Utility.

If, however, you do need to, just boot up from the Install DVD by holding C at startup, then before actually proceeding with the install, choose 'Disk Utility' from one of the menus at the top of the screen (can't remember exactly which one!).

P.S. I'm gonna be out of the country and without net access for the next 10 days, so if I don't seem to be answering any questions you'll know why!!

win xp on my mac now and i hate it!!

bring os x back......

ahhh back in os x now, so much nicer on the eyes than win xp. so so so so glad i made the move,

cant use my wireless mouse and keyboard in xp though, thats a problem as i am not gonna swap from wired to wireless whenever i need to change!

When I play a avi via qucicktime its always jerky and pretty shit to watch, is there new code I can download to make it play better? or any plugins?
