Yeah, got my eyes on the GD89 as well. Just wondering about the price though. And I don't really want to pay that much extra just because its got a camera. I've got my own digicam so I don't really see the point. Great looking phone though! |

orang3, dairin-> I hv spoken to SE today, seems that they hv brought in the P800 for testing. I think they will release for sale somewhere around end of this year. I hv voice out our unhappiness on the soft message tone till date they still cannot come out a solution. What is the point keep releasing new sw and nothing able to help on our problems. They told me the on coming sw will able to rectify the message alert tone. Well, let's wait and see.

Dairin-->Its on the little house icon under my post
Orang3-->Thanks but those pictures were easy as they only had 3 colours and no gradients. Therefore there won't be small white specks appearing on the screen. Flat coloured images work best on the t68. I think the 256 colours is still insuffecient to support photo or jpeg type quality images. Those consists of around 16 million colours at high res. |

Think by the time P800 actually hits the shelves, there'll be many good models on the market as well. Futhermore, there's other posts that says the p800 is having problems with the networks in other countries. Wonder how it'll fare in our crappy networks (that means you M1!).

dairin->SE had told me they are still working out a sw that will rectify the soft tone problems. Another sw will be coming out soon. No date given yet.
The selling price will be set by the network operators or dealers, I think it will be near to a thousand bucks.

dairin-> I do not think so. Infact T68 is the only HP in the market that had everything except the 4096 color and polyphonic ringtones. I think the next phone they release will kill their competitors will be the P800.
I do not think they will concentrate on the T68. Now they are trying to rectify what ever problems that T68 had. However I will ask and let you know.
