Bah, that's going to take ages then. O2 worked fine on my k750i, I guess 3 are just slower. |

Ive found another bug with the R1G1000 firmware. If you use call waiting and you're on a call and another one comes in at the same time. On the call waiting menu you can choose to end the current call. If you choose to do this is take to you another menu. But you can't answer the incoming call because the "Answer" and Busy icon's are on top of each other. It's hard to explain but try it out and you'll see what I mean! |

Latest finding on R1ED001:
Very occassional---I have a mixed-up language. Sometimes on the menu title I have Filipino instead of Bhs. Indonesia along with strange code initiated with R26: 3564 or R20:6854 or the like. Yet, as I navigate back, this weirdness is gone. I don't know how to reproduce it intentionally. Mine is APAC. |

@mwarner: no sweat buddy
@baste07, aremaboy: what fw versions are you on? this bug really annoys the hell out of me
Also, has anyone tried flashing to R1ED001 via davinci (the latest they have) and then use SEUS afterwards?

Just to report something wierd that happened. I posted a reply last week sometime saying that I updated my o2 K800i already once using SEUS and everything was fine. Then things started acting weird on my phone so I re-updated but this time certain things had changed (ie the internet shortcut key would load the browser instantly instead of needing to be held down a couple of seconds)
Anyhow my phone died last weekend and I had to send it off and get a replacement. On the new replacement phone I have got R1DE and EPROM 16 so it's all up to date. But the internet shortcut key still doesnt operate as it did when I first updated to R1D.
So my guess is o2 have made some more modifications to their FW, which if they have is a bit sneaky, I mean why take out that internet key delay unless they want people to connect accidentally.
Who knows... |

@axilom:
Mine is R1ED001 updated via SEUS. The mixed-up language menu even gets worse. I have it more often now, yet it just gets normal as quickly as that..then comes back..and then normal again..hmm..but why?
Anyway, what's improved in R1EJ? Does it fix bugs of R1ED? Why doesn't anyone review it? |

I have a UK '3' brnaded handset stuck on the 3 release of R1CD001 and after having it 5 months still no available update on SEUS to update to later less buggy firmware.
Considering upgrading via Wotanserver, will 3 services still work, like MSN Messenger if the phone gets a generic firmware placed on it?
Always wary of upgrading phone firmware, looks relatively easy. Wotanserver also tells me my EPROM is way too old, how does that get updated?
Thanks |
