I have just updated my firmware on SUES to version 184 from version 181.
Did SEUS perform full backup and restore?
Nope, just performed a update via SUES. Mine is a UK sim free handset if that helps. I seems to have installed the BBC iPlayer as well.
On a different note, you can access fast boot by holding down the menu key and then plugging in the USB cable. The led should then turn blue.

Okay but after update the phone was in a state before the update? That is my question - if we currently perform update on Android we don't have to do any recovery of settings and apps?
What is Fast Boot?

Arc is basically great and I think I will stay with it for a long time.
There are some things which bug me a little bit like inability to turn off this auto light adjustement.
And I have a problem with DocsToGo which is maybe the app problem..
The battery looks OK. There are definitely many things which influence it's usage because Android is such a
busy system. But after the device settles I think it will be as on any other platfrom today - about 24hrs only....
The camera is great really. I mean it's totally enough and it makes great photos in very difficult conditions.
As for the Android:
It's super capable. Yes and it was the reason why I switched from WindowsPhone.
However WindowsPhone is totally different planet regarding smoothness, reponsivness and ease of use.
With Android features it would be a killer.
As for Arc it's a great performer and UI over Android definitely looks better for me than Sense.

@doministry
I was under the impression that you could change the auto setting using the power widget, like you do on the X10.
Is that not correct?

I know what you mean.
But maybe I don't get it or what but looks like NO.
When I press this screen brightness icon on widget I get:
Screen almost black, than maximum, than the brighntess I set in settings.
And on every setting from the widget when I go to menu and set desired screen brightness
I immediately observe the auto thing kicks in.
So do I miss something?

Guys I have the question:
How to make Gmail store emails for offline?
Every time I go there it reloads data and when I'm offline nothing is there.
set your email preference to 'pop' ......
Sh.t!!
Why is that: I set my gmail to POP.
After I disconnect my phone from data, I go to Gmail and see the headers of the emails
but I cannot open any email. I have to connect to get it!!
HOW TO MAKE IT WORK?!
