I see two sorts of pics. One where the pics just look like blown up n95 shots(look at the foliage). The other like the latest pic from eldar, good detail and sharpness. The
overall quality just differ to much to be firmware related.

Yeah, I bothered to read the article and I just don't get it, why some people in here are so excited about this model. While the camera is (arguably) on par with other 8mp models out there, only the photo site is comparable, indeed they mention about the poor video rec quality and that disappoints Also the 7+sec between pictures is quoted as unacceptable. As for the rest - is a average java phone. I am still baffled as to why SE did not put in a proper 2.8in screen? For people like me it will be a downgrade to even consider buying this one. Huh, just the thought, of having to drag around my old, 2 pound handy-cam, every time I think I might need it, kills the C905 in its tracks. Never mind the lack of a proper OS, (not to mention the advantages of S60)
No ways . . .

7 seconds between shots? Its not a full digicam.
Anyway, it sounds like he has the Auto-Review feature on and he would get it down to 5 seconds if he turned it off.
