Do you guys ever get confused by all the Samsung/LG phones on the market? Played around with a friend's 5mp Samsung last night and for the life of me I couldn't quite get the model name. Friend was of no use, she bought the phone only because it looked "nice".

@brix
I know what you mean. Samsung and LG are flooding the market and it gets confusing which is which. Samsung in particular are releasing phone at an unmatched speed that it is impossible to keep up. This strategy is the one that got them the number two spot in market share and the very same strategy that will notch them the number one spot. I do think that in 5 years' time Nokia and Samsung will be neck and neck before Samsung leaps forward.
On another note, I think I'm getting aBlackberry on my one contract and wait for a decent Android phone on my second. I just can't see any QWERTY keypad touchscreen phone ala the P1 that I'm forced to settle for a Blackberry. I just can't do without a physical QWERTY keypad.

Yep, i still think the Pixon is an LG and a Renoir is a Samsung. . . . Or is it the other way only Samsungs i know are the smartphones,although their latest PPCs are confusing: Jet, OmniaII and that other one, i honestly dont know which is which,all i know is the original OMnia and the S60s, and when it comes to LG im completely hopeless,i know the KS360 and the Pixon/Renoir whatever. . . . .

Jonathan Trott, Matt Prior, Andrew Strauss. All born in SA. All played for England today and beat the Aussies in The Ashes series. And there's that other exp-pat, the notorious Kevin Pietersen, who didn't play due to injury. 4 in the England squad born in SA, LOL.
Oh, and that the fact that due to Oz losing The Ashes, SA now also holds first place in the world test rankings.

@wanqa: Can't wait to see this England side demolished when they come here. Mind you, Broad bowled out of his skin but the batters were generally poor with the exception of Trott. This is just from looking at the scorecard.
Australia though for me lost this game when they managed to collapse in the second innings from a good start. I can't see Punter lasting till the summer tests.
Trott is the only one amongst the SA-born players whose link is more than tenuous. Strauss, and Prior left as children.

Yeah true that, mate. Still, it's an interesting stat that about a third of the England squad were born in SA.
Looking forward to the clash with the Proteas; a chance for SA to further cement their number 1 rankings.

I'll be at Newlands cheering our guys on. Whatever happens, I can't see England in their current guise beating us.
Granted they have some great players but it should be said that as a team they're not strangers to long bouts of collective self-doubt.
On the topic of Samsung, their flooding of the market has definitely helped them increase their marketshare considerably.
