@ Hobbster:
Haven't seen that DVD, but yeah, there always seemed to be a melancholic bunch (no more so than Kurt himself). It kinda felt as if a self-destruct path was never too far away, and I remember feeling some relief when they did launch In Utero, that they were still doing what they do best.
Little did we know that it was to be their last studio album...
@ rhino:
There's a great article about Schumacher's return on the BBC's site:

Taken from GSMArena today:
'LG publish the first official shots of the new LG BL40 Chocolate
30 July, 2009
Today LG took the next step towards revealing the identity of their BL40 fashion phone. Official photos of the device appeared on the manufacturer's web site showing the LG Chocolate successor in its full shine.
LG are yet hesitant to reveal the exact specifications of the new LG Chocolate, but the official announcement that's rumored for August should clear things out.
As (rather trustworthy) rumor has it the LG BL40 Chocolate will run on the latest S-Class interface, sporting an extraordinary 4" touchscreen display with cinema aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 800x345 pixels. A 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G are the other features expected to be on board.
The new LG Chocolate also has some sort of Dual Screen UI to help utilize the extra wide display better by showing two different types of content simultaneously.
We are also pretty eager to see when the LG BL42 little brother of the BL40 will get official confirmation. The slim slider has retained more of the spirit of the original LG Chocolate designwise, but its specs are an almost complete mistery so far.
The new LG Chocolate will be available beginning Q3 in 54 countries world-wide.'

@RHINO I always like sports stars coming out of retirement.Out comes the magnifying glass.Thats one reason why I watched the Tour de France this year.At 37 and having been out of the Tour for 4 years, the odds were against 7 times in a row winner Lance Armstrong, but look what he achieved,a 3rd place overall.I dont watch F1 anymore, but if MS is returning,I might just watch to see how he does.I hope he rocks the F1 boat and kicks ass.

I dont expect MS to win, for all i care, he could finish every race for the rest of the season (7 races to go) 2nd from last, as long as he kicks Lewis Hamilton's ass....

Also taken from GSMArena today:
'Samsung AppStore welcoming developers from 30 July
Samsung will be launching the developer's backend of their Application Store tomorrow. By using the new Application Seller website, developers will be able to publish apps or content to Samsung Application store (Symbian, Windows Mobile and Java) as well as track sales records, revenue and even rankings. Billing and payment are also handled online through the new Application Seller website.
The Samsung Seller Site is the next step in the Samsung efforts in streamlining the apps and content delivery to end users. The Samsung Mobile Innovator has been up for more than half an year supporting developer's efforts. Samsung even launched a beta version of their Application Store in English and German earlier this year. The fully-fledged Samsung App store however will start spawning in regional versions across Europe in Q3 this year.
These days almost every major manufacturer has an App Store running. There are so many, that having one will no longer give any manufacturer an edge but it will sure bring them up to the standard set by the competition. The Apple AppStore has been faring quite well and the massive amounts of new apps and games surely make the Apple iPhone quite an attractive platform despite its flaws.
In Samsung's case they've waited quite some time before they started their own apps distribution initiative probably to stay away of what has traditionally been a network carriers business. And as you probably know, network carriers are the largest customers of mobile phone manufacturers. But times are changing and so are the rules of the game obviously.'

I assume he will be just that when he comes around to lapping hammi for the 2nd time... MS is only 40.... (he needs to pass a fitnesss test before he can race though... if he can pass that, he has a chance)

Well, since my favourite brand (BMW)/racing team is out next season and my second favourite (Mercedes or Mclaren Mercedes, if you prefer) is down and out this season I'm sad and disappointed.
If Schumi beats Hamilton I will stop watching F1. The old man will not beat Hamilton even if Ferrari were on song!

I'm mostly indifferent to Schumi there's a part of me that absolutely hates the German efficiency, arrogant way in which he competes but I also have to concede that he's probably the best F1 driver since I started watching the sport in the late 80s.

How's everyone still enjoying their phones? Are u content or are you dying to get your hands on the latest and greatest.I'm content. Can't be happier switching between Symbian and OSX.They so miles apart it quite refreshing. When Im bored with the one I just swap.I like the fact that with the iPhone u don't even have to switch the phone off when u switch SIMs.

@HOBBS: Of course I'm happy with my phone, its a beast compared to previous models I owned.
PS: Is it just me, or do some of you guys also not read the service manual when receiving a new phone especially when you're familiar with the OS? I think going through it would be a waste since I'm au fait with most of the features and like discovering new ones as I use the phone.
