His "love affair" with the Arc has started to wear-off...

I knew it.

I am swapping it for the Neo. Perfect phone in terms of performance the Arc but I worry about it's longevity

@Bonovox I can't believe your jumping ship after all the good things you said about the Arc. Whos to say you would be any happier with the Neo.

Yes,but the Neo is not too skinny I knew I should have gone for that in the first place. It won't be so snappable I love the Arc it's perfect in terms of performance & quality except for the plastics imo And I don't give a stuff to anyone who says I told you so

And I am bothered about that twit I should have waited that's all I am saying. The Arc is great but I really put my trust in in the hope that the plastics would be solid but it is not. I am not paying that amount of money for something that could easily snap or break in one way or another. And for the people who do say I told you so I really don't care I will go for something a little more unbreakable

Why would that bother you ? You do not seem to keep any phone longer than 2 month anyway.

Bootloader unlocking for new Xperia phones available in “upcoming weeks”

Now that the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc and Xperia PLAY phones are released, some will now turn attention to custom ROMs and getting the bootloader unlocked. In SE’s original announcement, no timeline was given, however developer Karl-Johan Dahlström followed up in the comments section recently and said that they hope to have the bootloader site “up and running in the upcoming weeks.”

The website will be used to unlock the bootloader by retrieving an unlock bootloader key once you’ve entered the IMEI number of your handset. This key will then be used in Fastboot where the actual unlock sequence will be performed. SE is promising more detailed instructions later and we’ll keep you posted once it’s up and running.
