I'm confused. These seem to be just old pics from the old reviews. Is there another review I'm not seeing?

Good to see some "real" pics at last. The SE905 pics are over compressed, the advantage is less noise, the disadvantage is less detail.

SE went the route of noise reduction through compression after the K750, which had a huge noise problem in low light. The K800 started this trend and K850 over did it, the 905 has dropped back a bit but still over compresses in my view. I preferred the philosophy of the K750 tbh. Nokia also over compress, in the N95 this compression is worse even than the K850.

Perhaps the innov8 and i8550 (or whatever that model number is) will dispel this stupid obsession with noise reduction and realise that the water colour affect of over-compression actually looks far worse than the noise that would exist otherwise. I think the ideal lays somewhere between the two extremes.

Guys, I've just joined this thread and really cannot bring myself to read through the 150 odd pages :-I So please forgive me if some of my q's have been answered before.

Does the C905 have an accelerometer like the Samsung i8510?

Which is honestly better i8510 or C905? No fanboy comments please ;-P

Does the C905 have a word & excel viewer?

The C905 has an accelerometer, but no word/excel reader as it is not a smart phone.

Which one is better is your opinion. Do you need smartphone functionality?

what's that got to do with the price of tea in china?

It entirely depends upon your needs.

btw, C905 is not a "java phone". It's an A200 phone with a multi-tasking capable Java application platform, but the main phone functions are A200 not java.
