I've done some calculations and it turns out, that the XZ2 has approximately 152.7 x 72.3 mm dimension, in a 5.7" 18:9 screen, it means the phone has 75.91% screen-to-body ratio. Not precisely accurate, but I think it is close enough to the real dimension.

It has 23.2 mm top-bottom bezels combined and 7.6 mm side bezels combined.

Not the best in the world, nor the best that Sony has ever made, but it's okay-ish (?)

Design is growing on me a little... Will probably end up getting one, since it looks "alright". Its just sadly nothing special, featurewise will be on par withthis years flagships I guess exceot for 2 lenses which is not important to me...

Will keep hopes up for premium successor which if not announced and out in March is to late for me, but if its worth it will switch then... My Z5 is out of juice by lunch time, need to upgrade

Very close, but dimensions from FCC are 152,79x72,42mm. So STB is a liter lower.

What about XZ2C? 135,42x64,63mm -what is its STB?

Alright,

So the XZ2 has 75.77% STBR and the XZ2 Compact has 73.71%. I think the XZ2c doesn't have a bad ratio for a compact phone.

On internet many ppl say they are getting XZP or XZ1 instead of XZ2. Main reason is the jack.
I see tons of same comments about HTC.
U11 is awesome in my opinion, but the no jack kills it.

Then why each new iPhone has maintain it sales volume (75+) for straight two years without that ancient port.

HTC sales is garbage for long time even before it cripple ancient port, your argument is not really valid here.

Pride. People buy iPhones because of the pride. Brand plays a good role in marketing. That's what Sony and HTC should do, build their brand and make them fly higher than Samsung/Apple.

I think Sony fans (am including myself) need to stop thinking Sony is gonna come back and rule them all in the mobile world. I think Sony has lost the race, there is no feature, spec, price or design which is going to make them a top performer in the segment. Competition and price war is too fierce and I believe Sony has accepted that when they said they are staying just to not drop behind and be present in the market...

I am a long time Sony fan since I bought my first Walkman, I think the brand has done wonders coming back in the past years in many segments (TV's or cameras for example) and becoming industry leader in sensors etc. I am happy as long as I can keep a competitive Sony phone to go in line with all my other Sony products. There is no rationality behind fanboyism and there is no way Sony will ever get all the apple/Samsung fanboys to switch.

Innovations in there phones should be priority so they can continue to be present and leading in other industry segments...

That tweet also confirms something Jo said about the devices will be full colour rather than just on the back like other brands. One other thing is we still don't know what "DVS" will actually bring to the new phones.

@Jo think it's more camera related as it's used for -
"Smartphones; tablet computers, application software for smartphones; computer programs; imaging processors"
