@da wanqsta: It looked similiar to that one but without the red.

So I've finally decided on a new phone, kinda of...Its a toss up between the E66 and the 5800...and I'm heavily partial to the business phone only because I text a lot and also because it comes with a host of connectivity options like being able to access my company emails on the fly as well as Gmail. The POS that is the KS360 has gradually become unusable even after I took out the 4Gig SDmicro card..it still hangs like crazy which is frustrating especially when I want to either make a call or send a text- which are the essential functions of modern phones. Basically my advice to anyone would be:

DONT BUY AN LG KS360

Just got back from watching Ice Age3, the 3-D version was sold out so we watched the normal one. It was hilarious, was laughing quite a bit, cant realy compare it to 2 cause i never did finish watching 2
Brix
Funny you mention the 5800xm, one of my mates go it on his MTN upgrade on monday,played on it quite a bit today, must say s60v5 is a nice step up from v3, only thing that i didnt like is having to double click in some places, the proto i used in december didnt require that from what i remember,but it makes sense, its a realy nice device.

Almost forgot to mention the Facebook app on the 5800 is awesome!! Works very well even with GPRS/EDGE i hope a similar app can be made for S60v3. Havent seen the one in the N86 in action yet.

@brix25

If I may make a suggestion on your next phone seeing that you use its email function quite a bit.

Try the E71. It really is an excellent phone! I am not really a Nokia fan and the only Nokias I like are the 88 series and once liked the E90.

My cousin upgraded to the E71 and plyed with it. I loved it.

For me the major cons are the not so good battery life, phone gets rather warm after a few minutes' call and a tiny keypad that takes some getting used to.

@EMS06: E71 is out of the question, in fact it was amongst the initial options and I whittled it down to the E66 and the 5800. I don't like the QWERTY keyboard...its too cumbersome and I'm more comfortable with the T9 text input than finding keys on a mini-keyboard...also, I'll take flak for this, but I'm one of those guys who text and drive while I'm stuck in traffic.

Okay, I guess the final 2 will do.

As for using the phone while driving I learned my lesson. Used to use without a bluetooth headset and badly damaged my rim on a pothole. Never again!

I have since bought a bluetooth set and am never going back. Hell, I even have my W890i's headset with me as a backup should the bluetooth headset run out of power.

Of course, you're talking texting as opposed to talking but...

@Brix Get the 5800.Just my 5c worth.The only E-series I liked other than the E90 was the E61 & E61i.That was a classic and sometimes I wish I had got that instead of the P990i.But yeah,5800 all the way brother.
