@da wanqa: I love how Virgin Mobile calls 1Gb/month ''unlimited''. So basically it seems subscribing to their data plans and hooking up ur phone to ur computer is a no-no...u'll burn through 1Gb in no time. But its still cheaper than Vodacom and MTN.

@ da brixsta:
Unfortunately their call rates here leave a lot to be desired though.
We had a contract with them until recently, as there was a great incentive (in collaboration with the Carphone Warehouse here) at the time, but they can't sweeten a deal enough, to my liking, for us to have carried on using them.

Just a (recurring) obsevation, most of their marketing here seems to be targeted at the fairer sex.

Samsung's F480 Tocco has plummeted in price on PAYG here, now just 176.10 (approx R2900):

Okay, 1st of all what you will need is to go here: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75026 and find your phones Euro1 counterpart's Product Code, eg. When i got the APAC firmware on my n81 i had to find NOKIA N81-3 APAC1 Sliver/Dark Grey ,since mine was SouthAfrica1.
After that go to Prodigits and look for the topic Update Firmware by biggzy in Pinned Topics. In that topic his 2nd reply is Debranding:: follow those steps and you'll be fine. Use your PC for everything, it will be a lot easier.

Lol, depends, are you good at following instructions? Kyle debranded his Voda branded N81 to a APAC unbranded one, with no prob AFAIK, you'll be fine, just double check everything you do,and make sure your usb is connected properly, everything should go just fine, and if it fails it will go into recovery mode and reinstall the new FW.

Wow, this must be M-Day, the Invasion of the Moroccans! Msa l-khir , and welcome to the South African Mobile Discussion.

Have a look through the regional threads; there has been a thread or two about obtaining the message service centre etc requests on esato; as far as I know there's no easy way to get those for free for the SA networks... unless I'm mistaken.
Good luck.
