anybody has the answer why single core windows phone is more fluidic, fast and responsive compared to quad core Android (samsung S3).
Is it because of OS ? optimization ? I think, Sony's android is more responsive compared to samsung's perhaps this is due to the optimization.... but a quad core phone should perform better than single core.
to put this into the topic..... hoping to hear sony's windows phone very soon. I'm willing to wait for sony's windows phone....but please don't take too long.

Hey Jmblue, could you upload the full size pics somewhere so we can view 100% original sizes?
Can't wait to see how the camera in Yuga/Odin will perform.

First of all, it's OS dependent. Android is slower, Windows Phone is faster, that's it. Mostly because Android has practically no limitations, making it pretty slow sometimes. And maybe because Windows Phone is more optimized. Quad-core has nothing to do with it, most of the time it depends on performance of one core, just like on PC. The power of quad-core is mostly used on games, watching videos, recording videos, etc. |

yea... maybe because Android is open and Windows Phone is close but not as close as iOS. Actually, at every Android iteration, I'm hoping for it to be as fast as Windows Phone especially with quad core.
However, have you used windows 8 pc ? I'm using Vaio Duo 11....and I can say that windows 8 is super fast and I believe windows 8, for pc at least, is open.
and if Sony has Windows 8 phone, the integration between this phone and Vaio Duo 11 will be great.
sorry for off topic.

WP OS is more lightweight than Android and more optimized. And i don´t think Sony will make a WP Phone ever! it would be a mistake so if you want a Windows Phone buy Nokia

The problem is I'm a sony fanboy. Almost everything in my house or in my possession is sony. Bravia, home theatre,PS3,PS2,PSP,PSvita,vaio desktop, vaio notebooks, vaio duo 11,digital photo frame, alpha a77,Xplode,blu-ray player, X10, Xarc, smartwatch.... you name, almost everything is made by sony.
My wife is using Lumia though...and that is how I fall in love with windows phone.
btw, why sony wouldn't make windows phone since they are using windows 8 for their Vaios ? |

Because they are so established in Android, a Windows phone wouldn´t benefit Sony enough! just look at Nokia, it doesn´t go well for them with WP. Windows is so much better in a computer than it is in a phone + they don´t have anything other to choose from other than Windows since that´s the standard in PC today!
