Im loving that N86, im definetly going to consider it when i upgrade at this time next year, should be at a good price by then if NOKIA dont make that Nseries Music phone with that new 600mhz CPU.
Mario
Are you talking about the N900/910? The specs are mind blowing but still very realistic, looks like a true E90 successor. i read that it will run Linux (Maemo i think), apparently all high-end NOKIA Smartphones will run Linux, that includes the future Communicators, and all Mainstream/mid-end Nokia smartphones will run S60, according to some S-F members and Eldar of M-R.

@ JC:
I haven't checked out Eldar's review yet, but if he's not referring to some of the key new cam features that the N86 is armed with, well then how can such an established reviewer hope to give an accurate account of what makes this smartphone such a happy-snapper's dream?
Strange. That's like trying out a new sports car out and not testing out the traction control or something related to its sports car credentials.

You know what? SCREW Nokia and their N86 AND N97, actualy screw Symbian and stupid Symbian Signed
Just went to YouTube, typed in Palm Pre Phonedog (they do great reviews ,esp. Noah) and there was quite a lot of Palm Pre videos, all done by Noah, theres an unboxing, hands-on, a 3part Palm Pre vs. iPhone "dogfight" review and some others. Watched the unboxin, hands on and part1 of the Pre v iPhone. The Palm is everything the iPhone is with multitasking and desktop notifications. The phone in general is built strongly around Multitasking, Social Networking, Web and Media. Its got the gesture controls, great fast UI of iPhone, but with a lot more on top of that, its as if they saw all that the iPhone was missing and simply put it in the Pre, yet still maintains that sophisticated no-nonsense feel, its exactly what a smartphone of 2009 should be even hardware wise.
Brix and Rhino, i think you will both realy like it.
It was released this Monday, by yesterday its OS had been hacked, theres already a custom 3rd party firmware for it and the graphics accelerated version of Doom has already been released for it, all in just 6days, now thats what you call a busy developer community, i hope NOKIA, SE and Symbian are taking notes.

@ gola:

Carphone Warehouse here have now got their first W995 batches, retailing at 329.95 (approx R4400 using the latest exchange rate) on PAYG. (30 more than I thought it initially would..):

Thanks wanqs, hopefully it won't exceed the R6000 mark when it comes to SA...

Did anybody watch the advert for vodacom? It explained absolutly nothing. It was the dumbest advert ever. Live more connect more? Yeah we can so understand what your talking about vodacom. We can read minds. That just annoyed of so much.

Eish, did you guys see that 'goal' that wasn't between Bafana Bafana and Iraq? Kagisho Dikgacoi was bloody unlucky to see a late goal bound header blocked on the line by team-mate Bernard Parker during the 0-0 draw in the opening match of the Confederations Cup in Jozi.
Dang, how's that for rotten luck? LOL. What are the chances of something like that happening?
