Is that like a chaise longue or something? I'm just wondering if there are places that specialise in small rooms that aren't too expensive. It is the bed that takes up 3/4 of the room which is why i want to get rid. I'm going to have to measure the dimensions of the room but it is just so bloody small.

I have just seen one on this website and on ebay;

www.thefutonking.co.uk

Just click on futons and then choose;

The Montreaux

I really like this one just got to make sure it will fit. I have a single bed at the moment but it is a high one with draws underneath and takes up so much room.

I'm going though the same excercise for my kids at the mo. getting beds that fit the room so they still have lots of space to do stuff (especially as I just got them both a 32" LCD each)

be careful with futons. you should really try them first as we have found that many are ok for 1 night guest beds but you have to spend alot, or look around quite a bit, for a really comfortable one that you can sleep on. In general I find sofa beds more comfortable that futons and you get a bit more usage flexibility too

if its a single bed you want then I have been looking at these (with a suitable matress of course) as they are very cheap but give loads of under bed space and as the ad says, that also allow alot of air circulating. that autcion has finished but I've seen these before with that guy so maybe worth watching for.

anyway... you're coming to london in a few months aren't you? I've just finished spending 3 days with some friends from Germany showing them around London and I had a great time as alot of the places are things you don't normally do yourself.

generally speaking, my bottom is devoid of such discomfort, but thanks for asking

no, it depends on what kind of sofa bed you get as many can be left made up when folded to sofa status

Thanks for the advice, there is alot of choice out there it is the space and whether whatever i get will fit. I'll be coming to London soon yes cannot wait. Want to do so much though in a couple of days just hope i can fit it all in.

I was actually thinking of these it is whether they would fit and be comfortable. I've decided on paint colour and laminate floor it is just the bed/sofa situation i need to sort as i want a desk/chest of drawers to fit aswell.

Ikea have some great stuff and i thought of these;

Only thing is they are sofas and i would have to sleep on them, they may become uncomfortable.

Lol, a lilo great idea cheap as chips too!

Ouch that sofa is 154cm width & 97cm depth there was me thinking i could get two of them! My bedroom is approximately 219cm x 212cm so you can see i have very little space, what to do.
