Samsung's churning out these touchscreen monsters.
Found on GSMArena today:
'The Samsung I8000 made its first public appearance thanks to a Lithuanian online retailer. The I8000 pointed as the Omnia2 will sport a huge AMOLED touchscreen, 8.1 megapixel camera, full pack connectivity and Windows Mobile OS.
The successors of the Samsung i900 Omnia apparently will bear the model name I8000 - and also calling it Omnia2 is pretty straight forward as well.
The differences between both devices are a lot and Omnia2 will deserve a place on its own.
The Samsung Omnia2 sports a 3.7-inch WVGA TFT resistive touchscreen, 8.1 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and VGA@30fps video recording, 150 MB internal memory, a Qualcomm processor and a microSD card slot. The connectivity includes all you may need as usual - 3G support, Bluetooth, miniUSB, GPS and Wi-Fi.
Rumors speculate that the Windows Mobile OS on board (purportedly 6.1) will be heavily customized and will bear the Samsung's TouchWiz styling with deep menu restyling (much like the latest TouchFLO 3D in HTC Touch Diamond2 and Pro2). DivX/XViD support is also expected.
Until some official info gets out the door all we have here is just another rumor. The real announcement however will probably due quite soon as the Samsung Unpacked worldwide unveiling event is closing in (15 June 2009).
The Samsung I8000 Omnia2 seems to be a part of a bigger Samsung Cubic project, which also includes the previously leaked Samsung S8000 Jet and M8000.
Though not all of those devices are smartphones like the I8000 Omnia2, they all seem to share a cubical central button, which invokes some kind of Cube-like interface. But didn't LG already have a Cube interface? We guess they do. However you can fight the market trends.
Speaking of the other cubic phones, the Samsung S8000 Jet leaked in an online video this weekend, revealing its snappy UI and showcasing its large AMOLED display. It's not an Android smartphone however.'

I'm tired of all these TS Samsung phones, it's like Samsung has caught some serious TS bug...
Can't wait to see the new iphone though, I hope it's different.

So now we have the iPhone 3GS. Just a slight evolution of the iconic existing model:

Ya, Sli Wanka won. Good on them. Oz out.
Hope The Netherlands pull off another major upset when they play a typically inconsistent Pakistan tomorrow.

@ Gucci:
Don't be so negative; maybe the next iPhone model will see the cam spec jump from a 3mp AF unit to an awe-inspiring 3mp AF with flash upgrade!!
LOL, jokes; we all know it's know what the iPhone's all about; I guess it's a case of the original being that good (for what it is) that these minor enhancements are still enough to keep the majority of iPhone pundits interested. I guess they feel there's no need to bother with even more hardware advances (at this stage) to up the ante to any great extent... unless there's other models on the way?
Time will tell, hey?

LMAO! Wanqa too true! Ye but to be honest its "perfect" the way it is,i just hope it gets Multitasking and BT File transfer, otherwise theres not much else it needs, its a typical Apple product, does everything very well while still looking like a fashion accessory.

Think about the evolution of a Nokia phone for example,6600-6680-N70 and the improvements between those 3 models..Now think of the evolution of the iPhone over 3 models iPhone 2G,3G,3GS.Even though they are late starters in the world of mobile technology,I think theyve done reasonably well from their starting point where in some cases they blow everything away and others where they are way behind.Give credit where credits due.
gUCCi I am going home and updating tonight. Thanks for the heads up.

I know the iPhone is great, but i feel that apple is stealing their clients money. They do hardware updates, JUST enough to keep most fans happy, and as such force the fans to buy the next model whenever it comes out... Not many of us use a phone for a year, nevermind 2 but i still feel apple has the muscle to push something much better than the current iPhone 3GS
