@Leviath
If you're phone was killed while flashing it, then it had a bad flash/EROM chip and it's not DaVincis fault - it's Sony Ericssons fault
By the way, it wasn't YOUR ear I was twisting, it was victorh017 - first people don't read instructions, now they don't even read the posts they reply to either |

@CyberVisitor
Well its my 3rd K750 one dead one faulty one fine AT LAST.....
I known you were not twisting my ear originally but after I slated davinci I said do as you will....
It may be so that it was a bad this or other and it is easier to blame SE rather than someone else.....
It is strange however that there seemes to be a mixed opinion of both SE and Davinci here @ Esato....
you seem to defend davinci like your part of the team..... if you are well good, tell the rest that they wont see my cash or my recommendation in a rush....
If your not, well boy, it seems they have a knight in shinning armour...
Have fun and enjoy...
I will :lol

Now the toys are back in the pram - does anyone know why O2 & Voda have delayed R1N. Is R1N pants? Maybe us O2 Branded folks will have to wait for R1P/O/R//// |

ive 1 sandisk & 2 sony sticks and its happens on all 3 only since the upgrade so i doubt they need formating?, the update went perfect no trouble there so it wont need a flash and ive done master reset and no change ( has every1 transferd files fine after the update? note* the problem is only wen putting files onto the memory stick thru the usb, something is always missing wen i disconnect and its not the usual turn fone off and they return problem. i left the m.s out wen i done the update cud that be it? /

Hey i had the same problem. Newly uploaded files on my stick would just not appear (typically only first 3 or 8 files of a directory). This happened after i updated to the most recent firmware. Files already on the stick would also disappear. (seems the index on the stick just changed)
I checked my stick with hdtune (hdtune.com) and it gave read-errors.
Finally i worked around it by first uploading all the files to the stick, then closing all windows which had the 'mass media drive' in it. Then proceed with safely removing USB hardware.
I know it sound silly, but it did the trick for me. |

I keep insisting with O2 and SE the point exactly....
Wilst a vast majority of O2 customer service/support seems to know nothing about the R1N, SE support insist if you want your O2 branded handset upgraded to R1N you should visit theire service centers and they will look into it for you and see what can be done...
Personally I will wait for these guys to sort it out... I got a mobile that works at least without crashing.....
Apparently the Vodafone and O2 still have to sign in to the upgrade....
I hope they sort it out soon... Im a little pived to be honest....

The firmware page says that:
- BUG: Java applications can no longer turn on Bluetooth (i.e. the message "Failed to complete this enquiry" appears rather than the question "Allow application to create server bluetooth connection?")
I don't have this problem on my phone
R1N035
prgCXC1250036_EU_3_CL
LCD SW version 0
Camera SW version 4.5
on Orange.
Does anyone else not find this an issue? |

Okay.
O2 aren't too happy with at the moment over K750i firmware. Basically its all down to the BT headsets O2 gave away to new customers when they got their free K750i. Basically, the headset & the phone didn't work as spec; this was down to 's implementation of BT 2.0 on the phone. O2 won't go to R1N035 as it doesn't fix their BT issue (however T1Q055 does - but that's another story.)
Voda are currently happy with their current K750i firmware release.
