I know people who obtained the Innov8 sim-free for £399.95, i would really love a confirmed similar price on the C905 to make a direct comparison on VFM and price related abilities, it's crucial IMO that we see links to full size pics by C905 taken by people we know and trust, those people i know who have test models really ought to be a lot more forthcoming with opinions on all matters relating to it too.

Better quality in low light relates to its Xenon Flash, which you wouldn't use in this situation.
It's not the best picture anyway, cause it isn't even in focus. Just a quick snap of two fantastic cars.

Would love to know where! I can only see prices of around £500. The C905 is on Play.com sim-free for £400, so that price on the Innov8 is a bargain.

I agree. Both that it's just a quick snap and not a good example, and also that they are two fantastic cars!

Yes, exactly. Here not even shrinking to 800x600 can hide all the noise.

my question is what shutter speed was used? If you could manually choose a low shutter speed, say 1/15 or even 1/8, this picture may look alot better.

im glad C905 followed C902 example with NO manuell ISO. manuell ISO settings on cell phones suxs. it makes more bad then good
Sorry to disappoint you, plankis, but the whitepaper (dated June 2008) clearly says on page 42 that manual ISO indeed is available: 100, 200, 400 or Auto.
It wouldn't make any sense with SE to announce the flagship Cybershot 8 MP camera phone and then have it stripped of so much functionality that it becomes more basic than a 50 dollar budget P&S digicam. As it is now, it still lacks some functions like manual adjustment of sharpening (Nokia has it )

would be nice to see option to select camera functionality: basic (current) and advanced (additional manual functions). something new under Cyber-shot brand. ehh, just dreaming

Would be nice, but even my new Panasonic TZ-5 won't let me select shutter speed manually My old Cyber-shot did though

Take a picture with any compact digi cam, without flash, and i'll bet you have similar noise levels to this phone. I know it not perfect, but compared to the k850 where this photo would look like a dot drawring, i think it does quite well |
