while walking past thomas cook i did the obligatory scan and came up with deskjet 995cmy1 which i assumed to be the printer so i thought "what the hell" and sent it the note "you have been bluejacked by jonc74 , fun aint it ?" and to my suprise it went through first time . Not wanting to waste a golden opportunity i lit a ciggarette and stood just out of sight of the window . over the next ten minutes i sent a total of 15 notes to the printer including "holidays from hell here , any comment on your lousy reps who dont put out when they should ? " and "got any holidays to iraq ? self catering of course " . Eventually i moved on and spotted a girl walking in front of me typing a text on a t610 so i duly sent her the note "lamppost ahead look out " she freaked and stopped walking so i went past her and sent another note "nice denims honey , love the pink scarf " i so wanted to look behind me and gauge the reaction but being a professional bluejacker i just kept walking . Later i attempted to jack the unicorn of phones , the 3650 but alas despite numerous attempts i failed , ho hum never mind

I've been trying to do some bluejacking but when i try it says "connection failed" any explainations?

Yes, the connection fails due to your phone having picked up another phone, and it is trying to connect to it. However, when you are in the process of trying to connect, the other phone gets too far and you lose the connection. Either this, or you are trying to Bluejack one of those phones where they have to accept the "communication" between phones, before your contact can be sent.

For the last month I have been commuting by train and coming home leaves me with a 20-30 minute wait at the station changing trains.
I've found a prime spot at which to discreetly stand and the timing is such that the station is at its most busiest.
Usually jack about 5 people an evening with my usual "You have been Bluejacked by The Dark Knight, have a nice day " message and here are two recent favourite incidents of mine:
1. On Monday evening I jacked this middle aged, nervous looking woman as she hurried to the exit barrier of the station. Such was her rushing and subsequent shock of the message that she dropped her Nokia onto the concrete surface of the platform to which the "cover" both front and back went flying closely followed by the battery
2. Coming home on the bus last night, some fool with a Nokia tried to send me a 1Mb picture (I like leaving Bluetooth on and visible ok so I deserved it). Unfortunatley I saw the message too late and the transfer had failed. So, I turned off visibility, set up a couple of messages and sent as follows:
- "Nice try, but can you find me now huh...."
-"You have been Bluejacked by The Dark Knight, have a nice day "
and finally, having set up the timing perfect, sent this one as I and two other people departed from the bus...
-"Cheerio and remember... he who Bluejacks last Bluejacks longest"
And yes, I did see a face peering from the bus as it drove off trying to figure out which of us was the culprit |

@Karmen
The number of the phone is not sent when sending via Bluetooth.
Hiding your phone means that the phone can perform normal operations via Bluetooth such as sending contacts, file transfer etc but if someone else scans for Bluetooth devices they will not see you if your phone is "hidden". |

well as i said earlier i went to john lewis. On the tube i bluejacked a number of phones including 'Barry's Nokia'. It was comical, i sent them my 'you've been bluejacked', 'nokia is shit' and 'sonyericsson is the best' contacts. It was a laugh, John Lewis was no use to my bluejacking needs, neither was mcdonalds after. I tried on the way home on the rush hour tube but somehow there were no deivces.

To expand u[pon tec9's little theory, who knows, maybe someone's paying nokia to make these shit phones so we can bluejack them.
I was at COMPUSA yesterday and one of the hp guys was trying to sell a bluetooth printer to a customer. So i proceeded to send a whole bunch of shit to the printer and the sales rep had no idea what was going on! It was damn funny and he didn't sell the printer.
I also bluejacked some fatass playing with his n-gage and basically gave him contacts for jenny craig and the atkins program info centers he was PISSED. |

don't normally visit this part of the forum (p900 user) but, here's my story:
My girl and I were having a pub lunch, and in walks this guy and his bird. You know the type, wearing a long coat and shades, in February...! Anyway, he had this black jumper on with a white "flash" across it. I did a search, and found a device called "gary's phone". So, I sent him "nice jumper, did granny knit it?". I hear a "beep beep" and he starts looking around, and I hear him say to his mrs, "someone just texted me and I don't know who it's from"!. My girl had to go to the toilet 'cos she nearly gave the game away! So, about five mins later, I sent him "your bird has big tits, how much for a diddy ride?"! They both freaked at this point, and left! SO MUCH FUN! She did have huge jugs though.. nice!
i used to have a good sig, but i'm all pc noooooooooooow!!! |

i was upstairs and all the electronic shit was in use by these stupid kids and old people. I saw this Sony Desktop for £2000 and the specs were the best I've ever seen for a pc.
