It's not a loop hole. A loop hole is a plausble excuse this is just a down right theft.
I dont pay for my GPRS because i have the correct plan. You guys need to pay unless your on a plan. So stop scamming the sytem. |

No other comments.
@bletch
My friend this is life. I'm a Computer Engineer. I'm good at especially softwares. I'm allways leaving back holes for myself. If someone find that hole all I can say that canguratulations.
And I'm sure all these companies have got lots of back holes. Free SMS lines, free GPRS even free phoning tricks.
They should take responsibility for these kind of thing.
This is Life! YEahhhhhh.

@ bletch
previous posts aren't rude, THIS is.......
Go string yourself up you wretched scum-sucking bag of puss! The world would be a better place WITHOUT jobsworth gimps like u. I bet u've got a brown nose too from all the ass-licking u must do!
Oh and guess what.......
I rip off software developers too! Never bought a single app yet I've got hundreds of cracks & keygens ALL FREE
Have a nice day
Oh and by the way o2 already know we get GPRS for free so your childish attempt to spoil the party really hasn't made a difference.
They have previously tried to introduce charges but couldn't make it work properly & everyone was overcharged for MMS leading to refunds!

bletch - you are so wrong it's not even funny.
Recent studies by Oftel etc. have all concluded that the UK mobile business is, and has been, overcharging for it's services since the inception. Hence the current moves to legislate against rampant profiteering. A few people getting free GPRS is peanuts compared to the huge profits the mobile co's make.
Compare the rates with the more mature markets like the US and you'll see we've been ripped off for years.
Mik - I see where you're coming from but that ain't right. Most software producers (certainly in the UK, and also those who work on mobile stuff) are very small and can't afford to have their apps ripped off without suffering very badly. Ultimately you are just contributing to the lack of good apps for our phones if you don't pay. |

Definitely. When an app is worth paying for, it should be. For example, I am completely opposed to pirating Halo 2, Half-LIfe 2, Doom 3, but I have no qualms in pirating some software.
Another example, I'd never even try to pirate that SOldier Ants game, because I know that the maker (Floss aka Tom) has worked hard on it.

I thought everyone on O2 is currently getting free GPRS because of their billing problem? I'm on an O2 contract at the mo and have never been charged for my gprs usage.
I do agree though, companies are currently charging too much to use it, they will probably find that more people will actually use the service when (if?) the prices are reduced and there is less profiteering in this section.
btw, why has bletch been pretty comprehensively squashed for being honest? Honesty seems to be very unfashionable at the moment. This is a genuine question, I don't understand the rationale here. Is it because it could cost people money that where they were getting it free previously, or is there another reason - him being a jobsworth, or is it a case of being too honest? Or something totally different?
Please don't flame me - I just want to understand why. Ta!

The reason Bletch told O2 is because he probably has no life and no friends and he is a sad looser who probably w**ks himself to sleep every night and just doesn’t like anyone else having a good time |

Can anyone get msn working with these settings? Ive tried agilemessenger and jmsn but they dont connect. I can browse the web no problems though. |
dekesh Joined: Jun 28, 2004 Posts: > 500 From: London, UK PM |
these settings only work for html sites and software that uses html. agilemessenger and all other messengers operate on a certain port which is not available via these settings.only those on o2 contract have access to these FULL GPRS settings and not us PAYG users which really sucks.dont understand the point of allowing full gprs on contract on not on payg.oh wel i guess we wil have to wait if its ever goin to come.but stil happy with these settings so its not the end of the world
