XWJM2 has been stable for me John....no complaints at all. XXJF3 had problems with stalling and general sluggishness ( for me anyway ). Ths has been eradicated with JM2 , it was noticeable when adding widgets and shortcuts to the homescreen. I have downloaded XXJF3 to reflash if i need any warranty work carried out.

Is the GPS fix any better with JM2? Downloaded it, think I'll download JF3 too, just in case

Just done the rom flash, now have.... PDA: I9000XWJM2, PHONE: I9000XXJM1, CSC: I9000XXJM1. That what you're on Craig?

@Bonovox: Dead easy to flash, there is a tutorial with all required links to roms and required software at xda-developers.

@JohnM: Have you find any better with your newly install firmware? What is your impression?

Definately more responsive, lag has been reduced that I did experience before when several apps were running. Still looking into everything, will report anymore improvements or bugs as I go.

Thats it John....the easiest flash of any phone i reckon, and if it does go wrong its very rarely terminal according to all reports. I reckon its the best and most stable of the 3 firmwares ive tried, certainly superior to the stock Rom.

@Bonovox, just follow the guide at XDA. It really is worth it.

Im just disappointed there hasn't been another, more stable Froyo release today.......yet
