Yeah definitely, I think someone needs to take the bull by the horns on this. Perhaps if no-one has a spare phone like the W810, we could all chip in to get one... for the Esato World Tour Fund!
Good idea, i'll donate a fiver we could sell the phone after its travels and donate the proceeds to charity.

Sounds good to me... dont have to get everyone involved in chipping in ££ as it wont take many of us to gather the funds if we chip in a fiver each. This one i noticed earlier on sheBay went for £31! clicky Simlock doesnt necessarily matter as any funds left over can be used to buy a payasugo sim.
I would offer to volunteer to collate the money, but have a suspended eBay account (since feckin ages ago!) so someone like you @MWEB or any other respected member (ie pretty much everyone in this thread )
We'll probably end up doing this and sorting it all out and then @garlic_bread will pop his head back in here!

Nice one Arien... was worth a try!
I think we should perhaps get the ball rolling on buying one personally, otherwise we'll still be in the same position next week...and the week after. The buzz on this is starting to disintegrate, unless we do something about it! Be a shame for a such a good idea go to waste!

I think it's an awful idea, given they're all actually dead.

Okay, he just changed that!
Ask a mod, that thread were different when I posted....
EDIT: The time seems okay. I can swear that he said the phones were dead. I distinctly remember the thread stated that they wouldn't turn on, and would be perfect for display.

@arien617, as you have now spotted, you posted hours after the last edit of that topic...
but anyway, its not important...
if it helps... I'll be heading to Oz again in March for the Aussie Grand prix so maybe this exercise can get into gear by then
(if not, I'll do something to get this going!)

Thing is though, at the time I posted, the thread did say the phones were dead.
I think I'm having some cache issues. Sorry guys.
