Or what tough guy? You're going to write harsh words at me?!?! "oooohhhhh I'm so scared of your E-thugging I'm going to turn off my moniter. "
You're TROLLING it's as simple as that... You lurk Esato and trash SE in hopes of getting a rise out of SE fans. Show me one positive post you've made about SE? If you have nothing good ever say about SE than what are you doing here? Oh yeah that's right,.....you're TROLLING.
Personally I could care less about what you have to say. I've had 2 perfectly working SE handsets as have several of my friends. I'm suppose to listen to what you have to say about it despite my actual/realworld experience? I think not. Get back to your social-life of trolling cell phone forums.
that's because it's true about SE. you don't have to listen, but it isn't in your interests to remain blind to reality.
now run along and play

For Gods Sake!!!!
Have Sony Ericsson acknowledged and fixed the issues associated with this phone?
My 1st C905 had the Dpad stiffen up after 1 month and my second one is having the same bloody issue!
How difficult is it for SE to make a reliable Dpad?
I'm ready to bin this pos and get something more reliable, especially if SE have not provided a redesign for the bloody dpad.
I really dont have the patience to be taking my phone in for repair every coupld of weeks.

sony ericsson are not in the business of making reliable or quality phones, and never have been.
there is only one way to improve the state of sony ericsson's notorious unreliablility, and that is to not buy their phones.
Up until the release of the k850 SE built VERY reliable phones and seem to be getting back on that same path. Do you really get off TROLLING cell phone forums?
if you don't know what you're talking about, put a sock in it. that applies very much to you.
they are notorious for software glitches and flakey hardware, and have been since at least 2003
you can continue to keep your eyes firmly closed, but that's your problem to deal with.

I dont know why people are complaining (again) about se build quality we know its there, we know se are notoriously slow at fixing problems so why constantly complain about it?? You chose to buy the phone, and fortuantley because of esato we all know about the build quality issues so you cant say you didnt know there would be problems, you bought the phone at your own risk, if you have problems go to a different manufacture, there are 5 others to choose from which all offer perfectley good phones. |

I wouldn't say that the other manufacturers make perfectly good phones since this is an SE forum, so those issues with SE's quality will obviously surface the most here. Why would we bother discussing 5800's dead earpieces here? There are other forums for that. Also Brightspark is once a mod at SE-NSE so he should know a thing or two about SE phones. But I agree that he gets slightly trolly (well I do too) every once in a while. |

Why is this phone so bad though. I have a c510 from new barely a thing has gone wrong with it from day one. I only had minor strange thing happen with the screen but its gone happened once. SE can make a reliable phone like they used to i just think someone at the top needs to be given the boot. If SE phones are only poorly built in UK i dont understand that quote. I have never seen a SE phone Made in UK mine is made in China and its build and reliability is solid for its first month so far. Fingers and legs crossed lol. I seem to notice a pattern with SE its always with specific models not all. Or maybe im wrong?

Is it just down to luck that you get a bad one? Or is that luck really happening to 43% of c905 owners? Is that large number just from the early batches?

I think it would be safe to say that almost all of the earlier products suffered defects. The returned products may be repaired individually in their factories and resold as fresh-outta-the-oven, who knows? |

Oh yeah i bet loads of returned phones get rehashed and then sold as new.

Is that sarcasm or you really think so? |

No i really think so. Think about it wont it save networks money than having to keep buying new handsets. Have them refurbed with new software and hardware casing everything. I dont know i might be wrong.

Well I do think so too. My handset has strange marks on the 5 and 6 keys, which as far as I know existed only on the very first of the handsets. And they have the nerve to label it 09W04! |

Yeah i once had brand new Nokia 6300 from O2. When i took it out the box there was huge amounts of dust behind the screen plus scratched down one side. Yes i did return it. But it looked like a badly refurbed handset not finished or just returned not inspected and shoved into a box. Shocking

In the last 2 days i've been experiencing a problem with my C905. When say for instance i'm scrolling down a page when on opera mini or again scrolling down going into 'tasks' with the D pad it will after a few clicks with the D pad i end up going into a different menu or somewhere or will take me to my contacts. This only happens when click the D pad down and not when i click it up a number of times. Could it be a problem with the D pad or is it a software problem? Any help would be really appreciated guys |
