I got this today, love it but is there anyway to have the clock that shows up when the phone is idle and also shows if you have any messages missed calls etc ?

EDIT

There is not sleep mode clock but pressing one of the side volume buttons will show you any messages missed calls etc.

I'm not impressed with this phone...

It's a very slow mobile phone.. The Menu navigation is very slow, compared to what i have expected...

Music player sometimes lag playing music (I'm using a 8gb card, but have only used 500mb)

Camera is very slow, and crap to what i have expected (Based on advertised etc) Colers of images is not very good or not sharp at all...
The Old K800 take way better pictures than this camera!!???

No standby screen with clock or anything is visible when the phone is in standby, only a black screen!???

Missing optornutitis for seeing if yo got a unred message or a missed call (ex. by one of the site buttons i flashing, ex the camera button)

For me this phone i basically an downgrade from earlier models... So i really hope an firmware update can fix some of the issues, because launcing a product like this, and at the same time telling people that this should be the top model of SE, is so far from reality that i can imagine!!

c902 compared with the other 5 megapixel cameraphones...

http://mobilearsenal.com/revi[....]5_megapixel_test/foreword.html

... Although Sony Ericsson is one of the greatest pioneers of mobile photography, they are not performing very well nowadays. This is mostly incomprehensible because Sony has all the devices and technology, they could theoretically make without any effort a camera phone that satisfies all needs. But they are not making....

Cyber-shot or not, C902’s software has some great flaws here and there. For example there is no spot light metering and sensitivity cannot be set.

I've unbranded mine with Davinci. Everything went fine.
Personally. I have on issue's with the C902. I'm finding it a lot better than my K850 and miles better than my W910. Only thing i like more is my T650.

Got this phone yesterday and I'm well impressed. I was thinking about keeping my K850i and selling this but its too good to let go.

Build quality is excellent with its all metal housing and feels really good and a lot slimmer than the K850i. Won't accept my 8GB SD card though, and only allows two numbers to be saved on each contact which is a pain. Just set up the windows live messenger on it but not sure if this will go if I debrand. Its 3UK branded, don't know whether to debrand or not yet.

Very good phone, 5 stars from me.

Surely you can just re-install the application?

Anyone have this unbranded that can tell me what pressing the volume buttons will do in standby?

My O2 phone changes the ring volume and I really don't want to lose that by unbranding it. My old K800 takes me to phone status which is the same as the SE website simulator of the C902 does, yet someone higher up says it accesses missed calls etc on his???

Also, is there a way to change the functionality of those buttons?

Thanks!

Don't think so. Its not a Java app. I'll investigate.

I was in an Orange shop today with my brother as he had a problem with his phone. Anyway the store assistant stood there with a C902 and i asked him if i could have a play with it. He said ok but i was mad cos the battery was dead so could not have a play. Anyway i was surprised how nice i thought the phone looked and felt in the hand and i love the way the top slides out. Screen is small and buttons too small aswell but i liked what i seen.

Got mine today and am really loving it! The new menu style is great and the way the pop up windows fade into the background is very smooth. I have not seen anything slow about it yet. I love the touchscreen buttons for the camera!
