To get the back off you to unlock the screw thingy then pull it off by lifting it under 1 of the bottom corners. |

Well... the good news with the generic R3CA037 is:
No more sudden reboots or SIM inactive problems.
Thereīs no pause in a middle of a song when you play music.
The bad news is that you canīt use the default Google maps (in Navigation menu), after few seconds the phone freeze and you have to remove the battery to get it alive again. So I thought, maybe if I download the new Google maps 2.2 it will update the default one..... but no.....
So now I have two Google apps on the phone, one that doesnīt work for more then ten seconds at the time, another one (the 2.2 in program menu) that works but it doesnīt support the built in GPS.
And donīt use PC Suite to restore your backed up bookmarks, the phone will crash every time you try to access them. Just copy/paste from PC or memorycard instead.

Google maps works fine on my sim free c702 after the update!? Maybe you should reinstall the firmware. But you are right about the book marks, but that used to happen on my old firmware too!

That got very annoying for me. I just assumed it was the firmware being rubbish, but just copy them across works fine. The only thing i can't seem to get work properly now is the gps, it just doesn't want to lock a signal in. Apart from that the firmware is stable, for now! One change i've noticed. If you set the single icon menu type. Instead of boxes along the right side, you get little icons. Makes this view much more usable imho.

Hey im a bit confused about new fw and seus update...i got r3ba035 for cent. europe...and here comes the prob it always says the latest sw is already installed c702 central europe CFD1201-0116 and it also recommends me to reinstall sw if i got any problems....any clue? |

Perhaps the new FW is not available for Central Europe yet? You can have a try with KKclient to see if there is support for an update though... but then you will have to pay for that |

Well that would be enough for me...somebody who could confirm me if its already there or not...i know one person which can flash me there lastest version but i dont want to do that until its neccesarry...

Hi people i need all of your help. I am going to exchange my 8month old k850i with C702.bec i am getting often problem not only with the software, hardware is giving problem often. I am planning to get this. is it worth getting? And hows's the sound quality in both headset and back speaker? also heard about dust deposited under the screen. whats really? Is it happening in all phones? Please reply me.
