n82 gives more natural colours when working with the flash.

I remember the sofa photos awhile back, comparing the K850 and a digital camera. Could you post the digicam photos in comparison to the n82 and K850? I can clearly remember the digicam photos looking rather similar to these n82 shots.

Strange. That wasn't achieved on my K850 when I upgraded to 031. Colour reproduction was still awful.

I see many comparisons here with an auto setting.
I don't understand why in any comparison like this people take pics with the auto settings. Isn't it wiser to shoot with each camera's best setting so you really know which cam is capable of doing the best thing?

Since the settings itselves is there in the phone for a reason and not to be wasted, right? If you're gonna take all your pics with an auto settings, the rest of the settings is better thrown away at all.

I think the K850 pic is closer to the real color of the sofa (as shown by the Canon taken pic), but the loss of detail/saturation in K850 pic is just too pity. N82 shows better details from what I see.

I can take much better pics with my K850 than the pics on that review.
But don't get me wrong, I always think that N82 is better than K850. And still think the same way. Coz N82 simply is.

The point is.. I just feel that I can take much better pics than the K850's pics taken for the review. Really.

Anyway.. why a review always uses the auto settings? Really don't get it. You have many many possibilities of settings with your camera, and you just use the auto settings? Isn't it a waste? For me, it's much wiser to use each camera's best setting. With that, people who read will know what the maximum capability of each device is, then the review isn't biased.

dont get you here. It has a G800 in the review and if I remember correctly by the time G800 came on the market, K850 is already "old" . So how can this be a "proto-review". If you check the review was done recently.

@amras

Like you can use manual settings to take better picture for K850, I can also use manual settings on the N82 to take even better picture than K850. One thing you cannot changed is K850 has smaller sensor and worse lens than N82. And no amount of "manual" can hide this handicap .

because they usually make the reviews for people that are just looking a good point and shoot cameraphone. when i take pics with my K800i, i just point and shoot, maybe take a second or two and set the white balance and i just take a pic.

Sure but the N82 with manual setting won't be as much different to K850 with manual setting. IMO.

The point is.. I can shoot better pics than the pics taken with K850 on that review. Looking at the images taken with flash, it's so dark. It suppose not to be like that. And many things on the reviewer's pics that make me think that I can take better pictures with K850 than the reviewer. That's all.

But did I say, N82 was worse? In the contrary, as far as I can recall, I said, I think N82 is always better than K850, and still think so, didn't I?

To each his own...the n82 has provides a different grade of pics with more saturation whcih results in a lack of detail...the k850 pics are grainier but packs to the brim with details...i personally havent seen many n82 pics and ths would be unfair on my part to comment...

Each phone has its own drawbacks and its stroger points..we all can live with it..and the differences in the pics are so subtle..if printed, cant be made out by the naked eye.so y all the fuss..

and its been only 4 months since the k850 surfaced..and the n95 has been there for more than a year...the n95 at the beginning dint produce good pics either and had terrible feedback...and peaple who are balbbering tht the k800 produces better pics...please do so with the original camdriver..wen the k850can be modded for..we can then have a true comparison imo..
