Hi!
Why does the clock on my TyTn II, show GMT+1 Prague, Budapest?
Oh, I am in England....
Did I set it up incorrectly?

Hi!
I do that but it seems to reset when I synch with the pc...
which shows Dublin Edinburgh Lisbon and London.
and automatically adjust settings..
Ok done this again on the TyTn II. Clicked on the clock, readjust the time to London Dublin. It show the clock to be one hour slow, so I used the 'up' button to add one hour... now showing 18.22
now synched tot he PC, and the TyTn II shows in the clock setup
GMT+1 Prague, Budapest
but the time is correct...

in reality, I install most things onto the memory card as I tend to always have the largest available and so don't swap cards at all. so the extra memory only really makes a difference if I have alot of stuff running at the same time.
thanks masseur! that's what i wanted to hear, i always have problems running some applications in background, like slagishness and being slow, so i guess, i'd jump on the tytn2 as soon as it's possible

I have had mine for a week now and am loving it! Ok, so I am not a Windows Mobile user normally, and I do like having a keypad below the display, but this gadget makes me forget all that... It really does everything, and has never even crashed on me yet!

thanks masseur! i am like a new born baby! lol, this is an all new device if i must say, jumping off from a atom life and hermes, this keiser is truly amazing!
well, in terms of speed, just like mentioned before, doesn't really make a great impact, but when we are running multiple programs at the same time, that's the difference i notice so far! no more lagging! everything so smooth for now, and hence i pray for it's battery to last me a wonderful day (just had a nightmare with atom life's standard battery, so please forgive for my ignorance )
still searching for some tweaks.cab, just trying to push a little harder, see how far this beast will go
btw, does TYTN II come with a compliment micro SD card? coz i couldn't find any map? or i have to get one myself? bcoz the version released in singapore, comes with a mapking or tom2 if i am not mistaken |

I've seen a few tweak.cab type things around but they tend to do more than I'm happy with so I just do the individual registry changes myself, not that I have found many yet (look back through the thread for some if you like).
Nah, I didn'tget any micro SD card with mine but I probably wouldn't use it anyway as I have a 4gb and am waitnig till next month when the 8gb will/should be available.
You should find tomtom on the cdrom and once you have installed the application to the TyTN II and run it, it gives you the option to download one city of your choice (so choose wisely )

@masseur
here's the funny thing mate,
mine comes with 2 CD in the box, one is the 'getting started disc' contains the microsoft office outlook (trial) and the activesync, the second ones, contains the 3gnetopt.exe (to speed up internet connection when use the tytn ii as modem), spritebackup, keiser backup tools, and keiser gprs monitor!
oh my....i think i miss the tom2

hmm. I guess the inclusion of tomtom is regional then as was the P1 which came with wayfinder in some regions
I'll give up my tomtmo soon anyway as soon as I can source the garmin mobile XT package which apparantly works just like my stand alone Garmin Nuvi GPS, so you might want to check that out before committing to a tomtom purchase

Hi !!
Can anyone give me some advice with these problems please....?
When I first used my TyTn II, after charging, I logged on to MSN with no problems. Haven't used MSN since....
I don't think the Vodafone signal is so good where I live but I can usually connect to the Internet using Explorer or Opera, but I can't seem to make MSN connect.
I was in the city centre today where the signal should be strong but MSN still would not connect.
It does not give an error message, just that I might be in an "area with bad reception".
If I use WiFi at home, I still cannot connect MSN using WiFi
I am not sure where to begin to diagnose the problem with MSN. I will start searching now........ but any advice is appreciated...
A second problem is that I use the TyTn II sometimes to connect to my home WiFi with no problem but I cannot connect in the university library.
It picks up the networks etc, and I add my user name and password,
But no luck...
The university support staff are often reluctant to support different devices. I wonder if 'certificates' are needed but I was told that the university does not use them.
I was also told to download to my PC then to the Tytn II, certchk.exe because if cancels the need for certificates. I think certchk.exe is not available for Mobile Windows 5 and 6.....
The final thing I can't solve, is that I use Microsoft ActiveSynch with Outlook2007 on the PC. Outlook 2007 itself is synchronised with the Exchange Server, anhd I would like to synch directly.
I can see how to do that...
but I get this error / support code - 80072ee2
I have searched about the code but not found a solution yet.
I was hoping to find a way to synch with the Exchange Server using,
1. my PC via a cable,
2. my PC via WiFi,
3. via GPRS when I am out and about,
4. via WiFi when I am out and about.
Should I be able to achieve all of these?
Any help appreciated!

Right... well I just got talked around by Vodafone into getting one of these (well, their version of it, the "HTC V1615") - I had written to them to cancel so I could go to O2 for the P1i, which up until today I was fairly convinced would be my next phone after the M600, but...
I was paying £25 for 75 Anytime minutes and 100 texts, plus £7(?) for their internet bundle... now I'm paying them £50 for the V1615, and having my monthly cost cut by £5 for the same deal, for another 12 month contract. Good deal?
I feel a bit bad not going for the P1i in the end - I'm sure it's a great phone - but I've just switched from Lotus Notes to MS Exchange at work and it's become obvious I really need something with Activesync built in. Besides, when they offered me this thing and I looked it up, it really did appeal to the geek in me - it's obviously the most powerful smartphone on the planet right now.
So, after 7-8 years of unbroken Ericsson/Sony Ericsson ownership, I'm leaving the fold... see you on a Kaiser forum somewhere!
