What steps did you take to get BB connect working after the firmware upgrade? I have reinstalled it, but it is refusing to connect. |

i had the same experience copying & pasting emails/docs, doubling/tripling the process & sometimes i don't get error...but WHAT'S REALLY FRUSTRATING IS, if you try to start writing & in the middle of that process of writing a LOOOOOOONNNNNGGGG email/documents, the error suddenly appears without you or even the device saving it on drafts....i feel like crying everytime i write & it's so frustrating..........helppppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!! |

After upgarding to the new firmware I can't help but having the idea that the battery is draining way faster than before. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
Try to use the GSM network only if you don't have a 3G service at your country.
using 3G network ( which is enabled by default in the new firmware ) while there is no 3G network coverage drains the battery very fast.

@jyskout:
Also, if you don't use WiFi then switch it off. That's also enabled by default after a firmware reload.

Could someone please test the camera with night mode on and let me know if your autofocus is unreliable? Mine seems only to work properly half the time when night mode is on... |

My phone's CDA is CDA162008/59, can it be updated? my P990i's firmware is still R9EC001 ... is there any risk in updating it? like making the phone end up dead?? |

Some bugs is gone, some new have arrived.
If SE is going to cut further support on this phone i'll NEVER EVER buy a SE again.
Nokia E90 will be my choise if they don't start cleaning up the mess and open the sw up for developers so the can make the soft I want.

I am wondering why SE can't provide information on new firmware - new features if any, bug fixes if any, details on remaining or known bugs if any etc. etc..Also there is no announcement of new firmware, information on which phones could be upgraded etc. etc.. List could be several pages.....

Wow! Have you even powered on the phone?!
Nah, just joking m8, but I have found this fw to be even more bad than the earlier, more bugs that annoys me, my list is so long that I don't even want to write it down, it makes me depressed...

Hmmm... I think I have a new bug...
a) I just turned off the bluetooth connectivity (since I finished talking over my headset),
b) made a call, and turned on the speaker,
===when the ringing tone was on going, it sounded distorted, later when the call was answered the sound kept that way (soud metallic).
c) Afterwards I turned off the speaker and turned it on again, and the distortion went away.
I thought at first this was a network problem, but when I made a second call, and then a third... I noticed that this was too much for a network problem, then dissabled and enabled again the speaker and voila! problem resolved.
I also have a problem with LGC Jukebox, earphones have to connect after the application is started or else a "cricket" is heard.
This might seem a problem on the CDA software.
Now, this perhaps is an Opera problem...
a) I had introduced my ID and Password into "a system" then pressed Submit;
b) Later I got the "Would you like to store this information?" window... I pressed NO,
c) experienced a network delay...
d) I pressed Submit again... then I got the "Would you like to store this information?" window again.
e) Noticed that the page on the back screen had changed
f) Pressed on the "Would you like to store this information?" window, the NO option.
g) ===Kernel Error=== and application goes out.
Also during the day I experience a memory leakage... in the morning I restart my phone and I have 14 MB to start with. On the next morning just before its daily restart with no application opened whatsoever it is 8.5 or 9 MBs.
Well... keep on testing.
Gosh!... this kind of product made me wonder if I have selected the best choice!!!!???... The Nokia idea is flirting at me.
Cya!

r9f is phone version and r6d is organizer version.
