after paying them, i think you'll need to email them your transaction number for the login details. for the email address, you'll need to find them at the gsmhosting forum. here's the link:

@all
I've paid for so called credits at Kulankendi, and has to confirm my e-mailaddres to them now via the gsm-forum, but I'm unable to register with them because it's not possible to read the registration image in order to fill in the so-called "verification image". I've tried a bunch of browsers (IE on the PC, Safari, Firefox and Opera on my Mac G5) and nothing works.
Any idea what's going wrong? Or perhaps an idea how to contact the seller directly?
Many thanks!

No Problem!

I just can't stress enough how important it is to read this thread before attempting to change the CDA!

Anyone actually know why virus scanners are detecting a virus when you d/l the client or the manual?

oh never mind this is why:
"don't panic, it's not a virus it's a new protection layout it's execryptor protector, some antyvirus programs can detect polymorphic code what are essential part of protector."

Successfully changed CDA and seused with the latest firmware. New Zealand Vodafone branding gone and it's like completely different phone i'm using, fast, responsive!
What i did:
Master reset,
Format internal,
Change CDA,
SEUS,
Format Internal,
Master reset,

It has been a long time since i've done something like this to my phone. The last phone that i flashed, patched and did all sorts of crazy stuff with was Siemens SL45i, great times....

Thank you all for making this possible!

EDIT:

After formatting internal drive i had 59.2Mb free space on it,
after installing SM, i have 59.0Mb free on C: drive.

Siemens were definitly frontrunners when it came to home firmware updates to mobile phones way before anyone else I recall.

well done for taking the chance on debranding your SE!

right. 1st full day of a debranded voda ( was lucky as it was one of the first so wasnt locked but still had the crappy firmware) and the difference is huge. videos play smoother. skipping forward and back is so very much faster. just browsing around the interface is hugely faster. its honestly like new phone. no crashed at all either. best couple of quid i have spent.

@all
I ordered for a "flashy" session at Kulankendi and in the mean time my transaction has the "done" status now ... some e-rom flash feelings are coming up ) Hope my logon and pasw are on their way to Belgium ... welcome reliable and speedy P990i!!

In the mean time I did some research on the do's and don'ts.
For me, the logic in the instruction manual of Kalankendi is not completely clear.
See: http://www.kulankendi.com/index2.php?pMenuG=14
Some instructions in this topic neither.
Any idea where I can find a logic (what's in a name ) explanation of the whole step by step procedure?
Tnx & regards

it's all in here if you read. Many people have followed the instructions with success so if you cant then I suspect you're not in a position to consider doing this.

Hi guys,
This is as detail as i can be.

1) make sure battery is fully charged
2) open kkclient
3) fill in login & password details (click check account to check you credit balance)
4) format internal drive
5) master reset
6) take out simcard
7) replace battery
check change cda box in kkclient with the CDA for your phone typed in it
9) click flash phone
10) press c button
11) connect usb
12) when kkclient reads "phone connected", release c button
13) kkclient will read phones' info
14) cda change done!
15) for some reason, kkclient will dissappear/shut down right after (in some cases it doesn't) but this does not effect anything
16) unplug usb
17) replace simcard
18) restart phone (at this time you will see 2 cda lines)
19) master reset phone again
20) flash with seus (seus detects phone as world 1 generic)
21) done! (as for now, you will only have 1 cda line as it should be)
But i did another master reset and ran seus again just to be sure.

so there you go...hope this helps. good luck!

Edit:
Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible if it does not work for some of you. At least it did for me and for some. Just trying to lend a hand here.

This isn't enough of a detailed step by step guide??

Please Note M600i=CDA162011/1 P990i=CDA162007/1 W950i=CDA162014/1
