When im encoding a video with M3, it works perfectly when doing the video part, but when it goes to 'encoding audio stream' the Process progress bar doesnt do anything, actually nothing happens.
How come?

After like 30-45 minutes it starts encoding the audio, is this normal?

Whats your PC spec @Deerox?
Mine does not take that long, Audio or Video!!
have you tried smaller clips?

hi guys im new to all this i got the w950 firstly wow what a great prog been pulling my hair out trying to get films onto the phone,i have done two films after installing m3 well pleased i come to do a third film and it just wont do anything ive not changed any settings all i get is when i start m3 is a box come up saying= Unhandled exception has occurred inn your application path cannot be empty string or all whitespace if i click continue it goes onto m3 as normal i add file and press convert it says encode at bottom then shoots across and opens my file path its going into but theres no file is there something im not doing or do i have to buy the program for it to work which i will cant understand as i done to films worked great help plz im going mad |

Has anyone problems with converting a DVD movie?
Every time when a start a conversion, M3 rips the files on harddisk and when it begins to recode the movie, M3 crashes. When I choose only the ripped files and want to convert these, there are no probs any more.
Any ideas?

Hello
I have a SE W950i and I use M3 v0.898 with the w950 profile choosen. My problem is that a bit of the right hand side of movie is gone. I have tried the widescreen video settings.
Crop 16:9 sides to 4:3-result as stated above
Add letterbox to 16:9 to fit 4:3-ok but in fullscreen there is dark area above and under the movie
Remove existing 4:3 letterbox-result as crop 16:9...
Maintain existing aspect ratio-gives a error message that a codec i not installed on my computer ( I have ffdshow installed)
There are no problems with the audio or with the video execpt the one stated above.
The original file is:
699MB big, video codec xvid mpg4, audio mpeg-1 layer 3 41000Hz 127kb/s stereo, 25.000 Frames/s, Pic (x h) 640x272
Is there something I can do or am I stuck with these results? |

Well just reinstalled your M3 on my macbook, and i must say, video conversion for my P990 is a breeze.
I would also like to second Masseurs request for in and out points on DVD's and other files.
Also a donation will be coming your way, excellent work with the User in mind is never a bad thing...

I just made my first conversions with subtitles, i used the entire first season of Heroes (the best tv series around right now). I also choosed best framerate opcion (30fps)...i´m totaly amazed with the results!!!
