Found an interesting mod:
Shutdown Sound
navigate to /fs/tpa/preset/system/settings
place any mp3 in there and rename to SHUTDOWN_SOUND_SEMC.mp3 and it will play it when you shut down the phone. |

Anyone know how to increase max contacts no. from 500 to maybe 1000? Will it same as how we increase the sms? |

Firstly hi to all, a great site with even greater info, now my hassle.
I have tried to flash through Davinci 13.7 a number of times and keep getting a "file corrupt" when DVT is starting the process. I've d/loaded & re/downloaded the files - W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA & W800_R1BC002_FS_EU2 a number of times and get the same error message. I've got a RED CID36 phone according to DVT, so I'm buggered where to go next.
Any help appreciated
Edit ; This is what I keep getting from the 13.7 flasher, as I've had another couple of attempts -
Client Version 13.7 - K750 Flasher
Turn off the phone.
Hold "C" button and plug USB cable.
Phone Attached!
Detected SonyEricsson: K750/D750.
Phone Color RED
Flash ID: 200D
Status Ok, OTP Close, CID36, PAF1

To create in the main menu of the phone k750 and w800 the option "PlayNow":
Download the file: PlayNow_w800
Decompress the file, inside of there is a folder called "playnow_w800" with the necessary files and a guide "playnow_w800.txt" playnow_w800:
-CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK
-CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK.itm
-cust_menu_data.dat
-cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat
-Save the folder "playnow_w800" inside the directory C:Archivos of programaFar
-Create the new directory "CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK" in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/
-Write the file CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK.xml in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK/
-Erase the two files: cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/
-Write the two files: cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/
-Write the file CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK.itm in / tpa/preset/custom/

Sorry got some problem when flashing my k750c to W800i
1. When i do the flashing for step 2, a error come out like this

That's because you're using a W550 -if you read the top of that text you've quoted you'll see the process is only for K750 & W800.

Have you read the very first post of this thread?
It says "Now we can access internal file system on K300, K500, k700, S700, K750, W800"
If you read the thread you'll most likely find answers to your questions without posting.

Marvellous!!! Can we have the Walkman on the K750 or the Activity Menu on the W800 please - that'll be the most complete fone ever!
Oh, and by the way, how do we replace the Playnow menu with our custom menu/shortcuts? (Guess this' s the 3rd time I'd asked this qn, dumb me!)
I tried making an applications menu to replace the Playnow item, but ended up with a 3-level menu instead of the direct link. I.E., what i GOT was::::

Maybe this is a silly question for many of you but des anyone know how to delete protected files like some sounds and the vf live stuff? I try to get rid of the stupid demos the vf live telephone has and i can't delete them.

Me too.. upgraded from K750i to W800i and then sms to phone memory and also changed farfield_play.apf.
