I must admit I have never had any hiss but I never used the supplied headphones instead opting for my Sony MDR-EX71-SLB phones that I also use with my PDA, so maybe they are the cause.

Has anyone on O2 UK got a later update than R4CE012 from SEUS either via the phones over-air option or the SE update windows program?

R4CE012 here. Another bug (feature?): when the number of messages exceeds some limit, I have to start deleting old messages. The phone should do this by itself, just having a rolling list of messages so that the oldest message is always deleted when a new one arrives. Should not be that darn difficult!

yes, shouldn't be all that difficult. but i know a lot of people who still keeps messages for decades yore. and if youre one of those people, you wouldnt want your phone deciding for you which messages to delete and which ones to keep.

an option will be good though. i always love options

When I trie to update the phone by air it says I've got the latest update. I have: R4CE012. But when I read some post in this forum poeple claims that they got never firmwares. Does the release of firmware depend on what country you live in? I live in sweden and my operator is telenor (vodafone).

Is the R4CK firmware for T-mobile customized phones already available from SEUS?

I just bought the new SE W810 and it has this latest (R4CK003) firmware version. I paired up the phone with my Acura TL's Bluetooth system (Hands Free Link - HFL). But whn I tell the HFL to call a number in the car's phone book, it dials it and then as soon as the call connects, it transfers it to the phone. And I have to pick up the phone to talk and listen.

What I don't understand is that Acura requires the Hands Free Profile to work.

The w810i includes this in it's specification (Check the White Paper) so it should work!!!

I explained this to SE yesterday and they stated it's a software issue (firmware) and nothing is planned by SE on fixing this. I mentioned to them that there specs list the Hands Free Profile with Bluetooth (version 2.0 that is backward compatible). I was asked if I wanted my phone sent in to the repair shop and have a technician look at it. I went ahead and explained that others are having this same issue and they didn't have an answer. They told me to contact Acura.

I then went ahead and called Acura. Who pretty much verified that I was not a monkey trying to pair the phone with the car. They held my hand and walking me through all the pairing steps, after which, I was told by Acura HFL Customer Support that they don't plan on releasing an update...

I hope there is a change but for now it's a game of finger pointing between both vendors.

I cannot use my W810i with my Bluetooth car kit. The W800 is fine.
