i use airtel live. Its connect to net. But my main problem is that My pc can't connect net through mobile. When I dial *99***1# it show error on registring on network process i.e. "Error 734: The PPP link control protocol was terminated."
I use proxy setting in Both Airtellive A/c is 100.1.20099 & port 8080. Nokia 7610 also not provide any facility of active profile. I give user name "test_xyz" in airtel live a/c and when i dial from pc dialup connection i use blank and same username with blank password but i still got that error. please explain how i can set my mobile to use it on pc.
I will try airtelfun today. r u think that solve my probm.

My dear friend,
"Error 734: The PPP link control protocol was terminated." only comes if a APN is not authorized for your sim. So if you activated airtelfun.com APN, you should use it inorder to connect.

Anyways, I am very happy to announce that a modified "METHOD 3" of spartan on page 15 is working fine on 6630.
What you have to do is(there is no need to have 2 airtel live accounts) just connect your pc to airtellive(dial from pc. use *99***1#). After connection, go to your mobile and open any bookmark in that. You will get a error similar to "Packet data failed...Cannot contact webserver...." etc.etc.... Don't worry about that. Now you can open any website in your pc. But there is one bug. The speed is not good enough. But you will get around 3.0KB/s.
NOTE: you should configure proxy & port no correctly in your browser |

Thanks for replying dude.
On sunday, I was not able to download the files, which are more than 1.2MB. But yesterday onwards, this problem has solved. I think I was getting wrong proxies on sunday. |

here in kerala Airtel has updated there system.now we can rtake the gprs only if we have a minimum balance of 15 rs (Airtel live )....but i can download and surf by our hero spartans method with the minimum balance. bye all takecare

Oh! So I think I will also see the update as Karnataka is very near to Kerala. Anyhow, I don't have any problems. My balance never came lower than Rs. 200/- from last 8 months. |
