@Wanqs and tranced

The latest firmware is R9k009, that's what I'm running on my P1.

Thanks Ems.

I'll need to change to the 'World' firmwares then; my ex-O2 handset lists R9J005, as per this P1i firmware list which I found, but it doesn't seem to have been 'checked' for a quite a while...:

LOL, ya Gucci; I certainly didn't expect to see such a fitting slogan like that in the plant nursery that we were at today.

Oh, and this next sign below was right on the road, by the main entrance of the plant nursery, which is pretty close to a local woodland :

Sigh, I can't help but think what some of the more typical gardening crowd must make of this somewhat off-beat plant nursery... maybe foul-mouthed celeb British chef, Gordon Ramsey (of Hell's Kitchen fame) owns it..

Howzit everybody, How's things going? Iv been in collage for 2 weeks now, and its going good. Got full marks on one of my tests about power tools. I was so happy about that, i cant remember the last time i got full marks. Im gonna be here for 21 months. Onto phones. Im sure my moms upgrade is at the end of this month, and im looking at the x1 and touch pro. I want a touch screen phone with a qwerty keypad, iv also looked at the n97 but its gonna be to exspensive when its released, and the same with the touch pro2. What do you guys suggest?

Kyle
Thats great news bro,glad to hear its all going well for you. i would suggest the X1 Black hey, its a beauty, pretty well priced right now for what you get,plus it has the 800x480 screen res that seems to be becoming the vanilla res for all mid to high end WM PPCs, so it will be more future safe than the TouchPRO in terms of apps and tweaks.

Gucci,
The wvga screen really excites me. Lol. The only problem with the x1 that i find is the lack of tv out, flash player 3. And some other software that isn't there that the touch pro has. But you can mod it to have the touch flo and flash light 3. Iv been reading about it on xda forums. But i just cant understand it. And which rom is the best rom. Iv been looking for an all in 1, but i cant seem to find one.
What do you know about modding the x1?
