Yeah I dont know. There are just so many things and I find myself not using myy cellphone the same way I did, say, two years ago.
Would love a new S60v4 cellphone but like the wanqa points out there's always something on the horizon that looks better and brighter. Its definitely back to smartpones for me, just cant deal with all the irritations of this dumb phone, my being gripe being that seemingly a 4GB card make browsing through the menus so slow that its pretty useless. I also miss multitasking.

Whats wrong with me I no longer get a hard-on for cellphones. Probably the only phone that still makes my spine tingle is the iPhone and that will soon be replaced in a couple of weeks by a new, more expensive device.

Its exactly the same for me. I get a new phone to play with, and i am bored with it in an hour or two... Even my 5800xm is losing its grip on me (Even though i do use it more than any other phone over the past 2 years.)

Yeah, I share the same feelings too. Having used phones for over a decade I don't get excited by anything anymore.

I've actually found, after using the P1, that it's the type of phone I want from now on. Blackberry, E71 and the like are my choices now. Of course it HAS to be touch, perfect if it is stylus plus finger touch optimised. Now, the last part rules a few phones but am hopeful something will come along.

The perfect phone for me would be the P1 slimmed down with a 2.8" screen, symbian though I now think android wouldn't hurt, full compliment of features and I'm happy for years to come.

I'm not your touchscreen only phone type of guy, so, Iphone/Satio/5800/Omnia just won't do, nor will sliders like Xperia/N97 work for me.

I'm already in a situation seeing that I'm up for an upgrade in January on my first contract then May on my second.

I really hope some manufacturer indulges me before the year is over.

Cant realy say im bored with my N81, it maybe outdated, but im still satisfied, when ever i get bored i simply fire up Ngage, download and watch some Happy Tree Friends podcasts through the built-in Podcast app in Music Player, read some blogs or find a new tweak i can do to it lol. I cant get bored with an S60. still id love to own a Samsung Innov8-16gb.

Exactly, a lot of ex N95 and E90 users will be devastated when they realise their new N97 cant handle some of the heavy tasks their N95s and E90s could.

@Hintza

You don't know how I wish I wasn't this fussy. It really would make life easier for me.

Hope you're right about that 'perfect' phone being available by January.
