what SE should do is...having the microSD and m2 compatible combo card in...this is something found in their japan phone.
they can trying to fullfill the needs of majority of the phone user while ignoring the big pool of loyal fans who have been using M2 for years now. |

All because of idou. But itīs best to cool down now, weīll probably only see idou in the end of this year. |

I haven't heard of this at all. Sony Ericsson phones in Japan all uses MicroSD (except for the older ones).

wow...SE have really proved themselves this time..W995 and Idou are both amazing in their own respects.
I guess I am just being picky...coz i still love Idou...but considering its "Entertainment Unlimited" wish SE had put music player buttons on it and a 3.5 mm jack as they did in W995. as that would make it great as a music player which u dont need to remove from your pockets to change tracks and stuff. Also would have been nice to have support for M2 memory cards as well to maintain compatibility with all the previous SE phones.
Hope that SE somehow do implement these in the final version as Idou may not be the final product. (fingers crossed) |

@ Goldenface
Kudos for the brand new signature!
Congrats on the happy union
Pity SE didn't showcase Idou on Saturday... fitting for Valentine's day

it no longer offered but w52s did have such connector. the only issue if i can remember is...for microSD, one need to put it on an adapter and flip the card around to insert.

i think i forgotten on K850i tht also support microSD.

i do believe w910i has an accelerometer...
anyway past is crap. yes idou has an accelerometer and probably any other feature a high-end smartphone should have.
This makes me wonder, with all the features and symbian os, could this be a p-series resurrection? there was no mention of cybershot... |

my only very minor complaint about the idou is that the camera lens cover sticks out from the body so much. i would have liked to see the lens cover incorporated into the body of the cam and a larger piece sliding when taking photos.
As it is now, i feel like there is a good potential of the lens cover sliding open when being placed into a pocket. maybe there's a way to lock it? who knows..
Check the pic of the bottom side. There is a locking switch, but I'm not sure if it's to lock the touch screen or to lock the slider for the camera. |

They wanna call this thing the latest and greatest in media and at the same time donīt put a 3.5mm jack on it. Whatīs the point? Letīs load this baby with tons of music and movies and then attach that ugly, plasticky, bad quality bulky thingy to its side so we can actually īlistenī to what we are playing. FAIL. |
