I must admit that the only reason I'd want to stay at 1.50 is for the games, (not homebrew apps). And also I'm not doubting the creator at all, but I wouldn't feel very secure with a downgrader. Thats something only sony should really use. 
Anyway, its your choice in the end....

anay i dont have a 1gb yet i hope to get one soon
i am not bothered about wallpapers and a native browser
as i can always put wipeout onto a memory stick and surf through that
i think 1.5 is much worth while
but its personal choice
homebrew will keep coming out to accomodate all psp versions

Browser is good, but imho, psp is mainly for gaming, so why throw away the chance of playing games from a ms for a couple extra software add-ons. |

i havent played or got wipeout.
I do think its quite funny how they are trying to get everyone to upgrade out of the box.
I guess thier keeping thier ears and eyes open on this homebrew jazz.
The homebrew guys should make a downgrade to version 1.0 then, users can the upgrade using thier games (like on my dead to rights) all legit like! |

theres nothing different between 1.50 and 1.0 except for the way they read the folders.
I wonder how many DIDNT update to 2.00 when the say the disc AND the "warning" label provided by sony

Have sony released any accessories for the psp.
I have had a quick look around but there only seems to be 3rd party accessories.
I wanted to get an official charging dock and leather case.

Sony haven't released a dock. But some of the ones on eBay are very high quality and are very useful. The one I have even has small resonating holes below the speakers to enhance the sound from it.

i'm sure they will release a dock though because of the two pins at the bottom.
Anyway, I'll take a photo of my dock.
It has the same icons as on the screen on the dock itself, lights up green when charging, blue when finished.

I have seen docks really cheap on ebay and was going to buy one, but you know me i like to have all the official items.

Check thiz out!! Bought it this week... Logitech PlayGear Amp & Nyko. Both will have charging dock and provide external speakers. Sound wise Logitech wins!! Fills up the whole room!! can be use with AC power or AAA batt, so u can place it anywhere in the room!!
Nyko is a 3in1 product, provides you with the protective case, theater speakers & built in batt which will provide u with an extra 7hrs of gameplay. Sound is not as clear as Logitech.. check it out!!
