I'd be amazed if its released with 2.1, especially as it seems to be taking HTC quite some time to port Sense UI to it (based on the expected Hero update).
It will definitely be "bravo" to SE if they manage that!

All the mindless drones here who go "NEED MOAR 2.1" must have got a rude awakening when they watched the browser test video.
I mean, every test out there shows that the Nexus One is faster than the Droid and almost all of them show it's faster than the iPhone and here's our X10, called "History" by some scholars here, kicking it's rounded little ass.

wow.. that is a huge difference.
lovin the x10. so we're expecting a march release now? Hmm. I guess that's fine if they want to take a few more weeks to make it even better or add features/upgrades.
Definitely getting the white one though.

I thought the N1 has a pinch to zoom functionality on web browser because it's already running on v2.1 |

@titus1 - Didn't you saw what I posted quite ago? I'll repeat it:
Multi-touch support in the form that most people know it, i.e. pinch-to-zoom etc. Are patented capabilities of Apple/iphone and that is for the most part the reason why every Android OS phone released in the USA doesn't, to this day, support Multi-touch. European releases of these phones do.

@dominstry
I was given an X2 and it was slow and frustrating which resulted in me separating it from its qwerty. I have taken the X1 back out of the box, I'm doing the dual boot thing and putting Android on to see what its like.
Back on topic, I guess you guys are realising that the Android version isn't such a big deal. Its better to have it released sooner and then give it the update with multi touch or whatever. Has anyone had an in-depth look at the music player? Is it feature packed like a Walkman for example i.e equaliser, skins etc. Would people prefer the old style Walkman player? Its something I haven't seen in a while and I do miss it. There's something about opening the menu and seeing 'Walkman' or 'Cyber-Shot' like on the old feature phones, that is exciting and makes it feel high quality. Its branding that they should use, its not going to harm them to do so. |

Sorry if I'm repeating a previous question, but does anyone know what features the camera has?
I'm looking for all the features you see in the Cybershot phones (panorama, smile shutter, BestPic, Smart Contrast etc + Face Detection, White Balance and possibly even Iso settings)
I really miss those features on my Aino and I'm eyeing X10 as my upgrade in April.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

No one knows. There isn't detailed preview on this part of X10, where you can read the menus. Or at least I haven't seen such.

No, but fortunately there is a white paper which lists some of the features (the list is most likely not 100% complete):
Up to 16x digital zoom
Auto focus
Face recognition
Geo tagging
Image and video stabilizer
Photo and video light
Send to web (photo and vide
upload)
Smile detection
Video recording
Scene detection
Recent shot tray

It's obviously not a camera centric device. Although, I'd miss some of the cam features of my C905.
