It does mean a brighter picture, but also so much noise that the picture is unusable.
You need a really large sensor for any iso higher than 400 to be really effective (larger sensors have less noise at high iso). Phone cam sensors are simply too small for high iso's to be effective.

Ya resizing the pictures makes them pixelated.
Orginal resolution pics have great clarity |

You are saying, - phone cam sensors are simply too small for high iso's to be effective. Hmmm . . . have a look at the INNOV8 bud Is fine with me if you are confussed, but please, don't confuse others !

of course you right... people often mix this things wrong. im super-duper glad that SE took this manuell ISO-setiings away on C902. it didnt do any good anyway.
C902 is a good example that automatic ISO works good. its very seldom the pictures uses wrong ISO.
im glad C905 followed C902 example with NO manuell ISO. manuell ISO settings on cell phones suxs. it makes more bad then good
edit.
the point with manuell ISO (on example K850) was there so you could force the camera to use a higher ISO (even in brighter conditions), the thought was right, but it never became very good in the real world.
manuell ISO works just good on real cameras with bigger lenses & bigger sensors. (there you actually can use a higher ISO and still get normal noise-level)

Glad to not have the choice? Manual ISO selection is not just to increase the ISO but also to decrease it. If you want to shoot a really good photo with low noise then you would choose an ISO speed of 100 or less. On the C902 this option is not there...

manual ISO sucks? not if you know how to use it and what benefits it can bring (yes, it can)

. . . I honestly feel that the new LG KC910 which is due next month will be the handset of the year as that has the VGA capture as well as the same flash as the SE C905 & has all the other camera features like face recognition etc etc.
Yea, feel the same way. Unless Nokia pull something out of the hat at the last minute, when my contract runs out next months I won't be getting a replacement SE for the 1st time is years. Otherwsie it will be the KC910. |

Yeah that's what I'm after, thanks. I have seen that picture before though, and was kind of hoping for new pics. But that theme looks sick
