@VIT
so, what if i want to take an indoor shot, with auto focus settings, but the camera selects ISO 400 for me, when I would like to use maybe ISO 100 or 200?
how do i accomplish this?
I want to give your driver another shot, but not sure about how to take some pictures in different settings.
Every indoor shot I am trying to take on auto settings is set for ISO 400.
I want a lower ISO without having to use night landscape mode.
this is easily done in DM3.5/3.8 , but how can I accomplish this in EMS 1.1?
I think manual ISO is absolutely critical to have.
thanks

What would you recommend for shots in a club?
Any ideas then guys?
If you're gonna take flash shots of people inside it, I would recommend my latest EMS driver 1.1. Here we've got two examples of flash shots taken with it. Pics look just more natural now. I really like it!
What settings did you use to get these shots?

Vit mentioned earlier that he was considered to offer manual ISO. He didn't do that just yet because he was thinking to get some more useful features. I also think manual ISO would be a great addition. Just hope he will implement this in his future development.
If you want lower ISO for indoor shot, with VIT driver you have to choose twilight landscape mode. No other way. It just like pre-setting mode for select settings like ISO and some others. If you select full AUTO, all the settings will be subject to change. Btw, is the DM 3.8 act the same on full AUTO? I never tried full AUTO before.
@edwardob
nice pics. sharp & contrast. which driver did you use for the shot?

shootout DM 3.8 vs VIT EMS 1.1
I believe the winner here is EMS 1.1, as its more accurate color and lighting.
DM3.8 twilight portrait with color correction
VIT EMS 1.1 twilight portrait

nice comparison. both shot are great. EMS one a bit over saturated. I guess you can play with manual adjustment.

i find it almost impossible to replicate the above EMS 1.1 picture I took.. maybe its just the sensitivity of this camera, but it seems like every picture comes out different no matter what settings you have on. |

i honestly do not know which driver is really better.. both produce great images
I think VIT's driver does need MANUAL ISO control though.. then I think I would switch over to it definitely!

I prefer the second bec. the color is not that dark.
@Vit
I don't mean anything i'm just saying that I like DM's color more.
Be angry if you want, but I'm not here to argue.

if comparison is to be accurate...well then everything would have to be on auto!
you have dm3.8 with colour correction..[that's not auto]
if you had used saturation control on ems1.1 you would have got better colour
auto must be auto full on both |

I disagree with you here.
The DM Color correction is an AUTO setting in my eyes. You set color correction On or Off, and it stays that way even when you close the camera and come back in.
Yes, Vit's driver has the ability to tune the saturation, which is great, but then you have to manually adjust the levels.
That is not an ON or OFF option, like DM's color correction.
I am not saying DM's color correction is better, only that it is an AUTO feature in my eyes.
Why don't you take some comparison shots yourself then, since I seem to be the only one willing to make the effort to do this, and my only goal is to help the community produce the best driver possible, whether its Vit's EMS or DM's.
