the web browser on the iphone is astonishingly good and I'd be pleased if the P5i had a browser which was half as good as safari on the iphone |

Mizzle, do you think P5i will be released at a good time so that it will include Opera Mobile 9 Web browser? The web browser has a few months of beta testing to go yet, but it would be great if this was the case. |

the one used in e61 is not Opera Mini god it is symbian os browser built into the phone! opera is there for s60 but it is different from the symbian browser!
that is not opera! |

Yeah the S60 browser is much better. imo its the best once other than safari on iphone and thats probably becasue its based on iphones safari's script.
Opera would be the next best though.

Sorry, I got caught in action
Either way, as people have been asking.. It shouldn't be too big.

If its that big, then it(also the upcoming iphone competition) should be announced by non other than Howard Stringer and Ericsson CEO...not just SE ceo.
This will promise more media coverage. |

...that has nothing to do with anything
BTW congrats on the W960i Mizzle I was seriously considering getting it instead of waiting for the P5i. But I will wait until its announced and then I'll be able to make a good decision. Just don't tell me how awesome it is Pls! Enjoy

according to gsmarena's review on w960
The Sony Ericsson W960 comes equipped with the Opera 8.0 Web browser, which has made a reputation as one of the best in mobile devices. It supports HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, frames, CSS, and TSL and SSL security protocols. It's not on par with the Nokia web browser but it surely renders pages fast enough and offers rich view options.
its good but not as good as s60's which is exactly what i was saying all this time. |
