yeah really come on... people are complaining about the damn clock! well you better sell your phone now...........

any way, you would only be able to see the standby clock during the day if the k850 had it, at night you would need to press the volume button to see it, whats the big deal in doing this all day? i always press the volume button any way to see the clock as it makes it easier to see even during the day!

That my be so. But I still thinks it's easier to just glanze at the phone and see the clock and missed calls. You can't even see if the phone is on or if it's off without pressing a button. I think that is bad.
(but i'm still going to get this phone. It looks so f*!#ing good. I was only kidding with you guys when a said I canceled the order:-) )

I have to say that after using the phone for 24 hours, I have at least a few firmware problems to report. I'm not sure if these are just on the O2 firmware.

1. The volume keys do not work in phone calls or while listening to music or video.
2. Video playback is slightly jerky.
3. The auto-rotate feature sometimes takes much longer than other times.
4. Sometimes when the phone auto-locks, the backlight stays on permanently. The only way to solve this is to take the phone out of lock, and relock it manually.
5. The menu motion is sometimes very slow and jerky.

The only other slightly annoying thing I've found besides the firmware bugs is the slightly creaky battery cover. To be fair though, the battery cover is much better quality than most other phones I've come across.

all you need is a DPY flash by your local workshop

about the volume key, im not sure.

(DPY flash = the best way to uppdate your firmware....only for phones)

number 2. video MAY be jerky as the setting for auto rotation is on, try put it on landscape or what ever and see how it is....

and number 5, the batter cover. Do you mean the whole back cover? or just the bottom battery door?

Hmm, turning auto-rotate off does significantly improve the video playback actually. Thanks!

The flap at the bottom...it's not quite as tight or as flush as it could be. This isn't my phone either, as a friend had one delivered last night that feels exactly the same.

I agree. I think people are entitled to be disappointed. I've just been catching up on the thread, and the first guy who "complained" about the lack of time in sleep mode was only saying what he thought he wasn't complaining at all. Then some guy said "it's not the end of the world". Then it was flame on!

But never at any time did any sleep mode supporter post anything about it being the end of the world - they only posted that they like the sleep clock and wish it had been kept.

Those of us who like the sleep mode clock find it suits our preferences for phone ergonomics. That's the only reason we need. It won't stop us, certainly not me, from buying the K850, but since the sleep mode clock has been a part of the SE UI for so long, it's a bit of a shock that they have dropped it.

No need for being a K850 owner, anyhow, yes it does.

But the question is, can it be used?
Because the micro SDHC you can get in "bigger sizes".
Will it work with a 6Gb micro SDHC in the k850?

DPY flash is just a other way to uppdate your firmware..(you can only do it by your work shop)...i allways DPY updated(flash) my phones in that way...

you get a clean install directley on the memory, it give you less buggs, etc...(when you update your phone with your build in update-function or with computer + cable.....you dont get a clean install direct on the memory.....(when you DPY update, it first erase everything, then it install your firmware...its a special machine who is linked with a server who do the job).

i recomended it...(every phone have 2 year warranty...so its free to do it
