as i know, september is not as premium as Xperia 1, that's all i can tell at the moment
Is there a Premium at all? There was talk about a phone with 5K resolution.
If September hasn't got a flagship, this would mean no Sony 5G phone this year at all?

flagship is not necessarily to be premium, September one is flagship, just not as premium as Xperia 1
We might still possible to see some even premium phone than Xperia 1 this year, i guess |

LG can't make 4K OLED panel right now. QHD is their limit right now
i bet Xperia 1 use Samsung OLED. |

Now that MWC is done I'll say that the Xperia 1 is the top device. It is a brilliant device. My issue is that it will not fit in my pocket at all, its too tall. My question is whether IFA will have a regular one with quad HD and also a Compact? I'd take a S10 sized Sony in a heartbeat because I'm resigned to defeat regarding the Compact. The S10E is appealing but having used the S10 I end up staring at the punch hole. The L3 looks very nice too but its too weak for me. Insiders, are we getting some smaller flagship devices? |

So you are saying the following;
- Possible flagship at IFA but not as premium as Xperia 1
- Premium phone (better than Xperia 1) is possible this year
- So since you don't expect the IFA flagship to be better than Xperia 1, than the flagship that would be better than Xperia 1 would come before that. In other words, some kind of a Premium device is possible around late spring/early summer |
