TBH, the new XZ2 looks stunning, it would be better if they could trim down those top and bottom bezels a little bit.

Wireless Charging and rear FPS are welcome changes.

Hopefully, they could improve the shutter speed of the camera, in my opinion, having no dual camera is not really a deal breaker, take a look at the Pixel XL 2, its still taking great (if not the best) photo, with just a single camera.

Now its all come down to the price and whether it has expandable memory or not

2870 and 3180mAh?

Just my guess.

I was right :)

New Compact is bigger, higher, thicker and probably heavier... And still plastic. Bad news.

@Itsjust JOH
So my info wasn't accurate right?
Check again
XR4:next year's flagship sensor is basically the same IMX400 but with a lower aperture most likely 1.8 no mention of OIS yet but that doesn't mean it won't feature just no info on it yet.
FHD super slow motion. I said these 4 months ago. And they're dead on.

I've made myself look like a total d1ck. I did not see the near to release prototypes but I get to see the design drawings and the 3D printed models and things, its my side job so I see certain designs and so on and have to keep quiet. I have seen this ugly turd design which will be horrific in Compact dimensions but I saw a very well characterised Arc update and I thought they would pursue this but I was wrong. Got trolled on the teaser as well because the Arc design is like that. It had a 2.5D type of front and subtle Arc back with space made for the FPS and dual camera slots. It looked like a feasible design and very attractive.

I'm stunned that they used this design for XZ2 particularly moving from metal to glass etc. The XA2 is much prettier and the XZ loop a million times more sleek. As a fan I'm very disappointed, slim bezels don't matter in certain cases. What is really frustrating is that they have great ideas but never follow them up. I had a look at a fitness bracelet that was a complete wrap around screen with the Fez watch technology, beautiful and thin that shows notifications etc. but this will probably never see the light of day.

Btw IMHO pro isn't cancelled. Worstcase scenario it will be on IFA. Btw as I mentioned it's just my opinion not info from my friend.

Guys,
Calm down

Even after ditching chocolate bar in favor of soap bar
I think it will continue to feel premium and unique

Just wait the announcement, hands-on and maybe even the full reviews before hating or loving

It's still too early and all what we had is computer generic renderings

this happens every year. someone puts out some "official" info with some "official" renders and people go ape shit saying it's ugly and not what they wanted blah blah blah...

then the real deal comes along and more than half the naysayers are like.."OMG I LOVE IT"

can't make everyone happy but geez people.. save it for the official announcement.

The top bezel is okay, just the bottom is still too thick. I think G6 has bigger stbr, though.
