Hi all
No time 2 read this whole thread so if the Q has been asked forgive me.
So far ive only read bout ppl using their phones for free internet using
opera mini, but has any1 used phone as modem or a 3g modem to get internet on pc and if so what was the speed? any download caps?

@ Sahil What connection are you using? Try using Opera Mini 4.2 Labs Edition with Direct download. But I think it's likely the size that's the problem. Try o2cinemas.com Smaller sizes but not updated that frequently. |

so now that sneakme.net is down 4 mtn, wat proxy r u guys using, have tried flyproxy, it sucks i get 8kb download speed. Any ideas? |

guys to tell you the truth if u keep on using tricks on south african networks you will get caught for sure coz i was caught my self vodacom sent me an sms warning me that their were going to take a legal action agaisnt me so i stopped immidietly |

guyz it happens, once while i was on the internet and all of sudden it sayd YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. but it was still working after that and its been a week im still using the same connection. it works like charm 4 me.
and @mweaich, i still use the settings shakee provided here on page 93 or 94. jst check it. mayb wrkz 4 u also.

Ok since no1 got back 2 me i read the whole thread
and am now using my Huawei E160 with vodacom sim
i am able browse free using php proxies and download
with cgi proxies on my pc.
biggest file i downloaded was 700mb@140kbs

don't be confused with kilobits and kilobytes.
I think PC is using kilobits.
3G is approximately at 384kilobits per second connection speed, and downloading speed at approximately 48kilobytes per second.
So 40kilobytes per second means, 320kilobits per second.
Well 3.5G is different though is more faster. |
