@kukuh
No, i don`t think it`s better, but have a very usefull thing like a smaler picture size with
totaly same quality in comparsing with compression wich resulting biger pictures size, and
no chance for human eyes to see the differences.... Tonight, i will make compare test...
@Raiderski
See last words^^^
For now, see this two pictures:

Thanks. It worked that way.
Mladen's pic is brighter than Kriomags but they are both blurry looking. |

thanks for info Mladen i appreciate your work. i rembember smaller size trick from GxG drivers. exactly this same automatic compression was there because of wrong calls (without SET_) to SET_JPEG_ macros i think.
by the way... do you have any theory what for are quantization tables defined in camdrv? i'm asking because they aren't used and looks like in fact quantization tables for compression are created dynamic somehow for every photo and are different for different photos (on same camdrv).

@jonaugust_69: Which of the three most closely resembles the naturalscene? And, since u have the original fotos, which is the sharpest?

took some sample shots with my W810 R4EA031 and my 5.5 camdriver.. remember i always get fuzzy shots cuz of my scratched lens so you guys will probably have better luck.. but i think its pretty good! (if you look closely, you'll see how its sharper on the edges and bad in the middle.. cuz its the middle of the lens that is scratched up!
remember folks.. this is a Camera-Phone.. not a Phone-Camera.. although I must admit, it seems all I do with my phone lately is test the camera, hehe

@Sarmad, please fix autofocus in your 5.5 driver because I can't really focusing any macro on auto mode... |

I don't understand what you're saying.. do you mean that autofocus is not working properly in macro mode? it seems to work fine for me.. |

ok, i take it back.. the focus isnt as good as it used to be.. im going to go back to 4.8 as the base and rebuild from there.. i think we'll have better results that way |
