hmm no that world mate for k750 is for the smaller screen that k750 have so i must find one for the screensize that is for k800 |

Hi,
Am using an ex-vodafone UK K800i debranded using wotanserver. If I use the SEUS tp grab the new firmware will it brand me back to vodafone ?

The answer to your question is NO. I had an Orange branded K800i and debranded it using WOTAN. I just did the upgrade and the phone still is unbranded.
So, don't worry. I think the update SW recognizes the firmware you have and searches for available updates.
BTW it is worth it as camera functions have been greatly improved as far as speed is concerned and I also noticed faster focusing...

Thanks for that :: all I got to do now is find some 3G coverage in which to do it (not all that much GPRS or even GSM out this way).

I'm having a strange problem - I can't transfer a file (87,5MB) to the phone's MS even though it has more than double free space. When transferring it in file transfer mode i get this error message:
Cannot copy *filename*. Cannot find requested sector.
(or, in Swedish:)
Det går inte att kopiera *filens namn*. Det går inte hitta begärd sektor.
What can I do to solve this?

before u copy the file...
change the file name to: file or something like that....
and then, try to send to ms again....

ive put a .rm file on the memory stick..it shows up in the file manager..it plays in the file manager...but it doesnt show up in the Music player...

To change the name didn't work, still got the same message. Hasn't anyone else got the same problem? Do I have to divide the video into smaller files? 
edit: divided it into two files, the first worked but I got the same message almost directly when trying to transfer the second file. Maybe I have to format the memory stick...

lleoman, ive had the problem. transferring over bluetooth is fine, and it only appears to be occasional files, maybe there is a dodgy sector on the memory stick. I keep meaning to format it, but thats effort |

ey guys. just wana ask sumthin coz im tired of nokia users bragging about the new fones having carl seiss lens. sony cybershot cams have the carl zeiss vario tessar lens on them. does the k800 cybershot have that kinda lens too? thanks. |

yeah i know. im just tired of those nokia fanatics. they think that having a carl zeiss lens can patch up the poor quality pics that their handsets take. anyway, thanks man. peace. |

From the relatively few posts regarding joystick quality, I take it that Sony Ericsson have finally improved the joystick in the K800i? Has anyone experienced any problems yet?
