Yeah, looks like the 25 and 27 are being replaced by the 35 and 37 respectively.
Maybe thats why you can get a 25 for 3K?
Did you see the 27/37 are running 64 bit Vista and 6GB RAM?
I'm sure I saw a 2GB RAM version of the AW for $2300 a couple of months ago. Still had the 18.4" widescreen and BlueRay drive though, I think it was 320GB HDD.

I just came across this article which is about using the iPhone in New Zealand from an American's perspective. Quite good.
Also, I can't believe I missed this when it aired! Good job Clive.

Awesome! Have fun mate! I'm looking forward to seeing those pictures.
Went into a Telecom store today and I saw a W995 dummy. Just the dummy is enough to convince me to get this as my next phone. So awesome. It's a lot smaller than the press shots and it feels and looks so premium. Nice metallic accents, etc. I want it.
Also saw W508 dummies. I didn't know this was out yet, but it is. My girlfriend fell in love with the white one and I have to admit it looks really good in glossy white. I'd even go as far as saying its the nicest flip phone I've ever seen. Nicer than the W980 I think.

I dunno... I saw a real W995 today and although I liked the UI I though it felt a bit cheap for it's price.
I saw a W508 dummy and it felt really nasty, I'd definitely go for a W980 especially at the EI price of $379!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now where did I put that mattress full of money....
My brother in law is after a new phone and I showed him the G700, T700, W770 and W980 on EI's website. I wonder what he'll come back with... he showed up earlier today with a faulty Motorola K1 his girlfriend had given him and he wanted my advice on it.... you can guess what I said ... bloomin' cheapskate, he's got plenty of money too... he's just not that into gadgets!
@soane28
Have a great trip! Don't go getting caught up in any coup or anything! Should be good weather there shouldn't it?
Edit: The iPhone weather app tells me it's gonna be raining in Suva on Sun, Mon and fine Tues, Wed. 24 Degrees during the day and 20 at night. Righto then, I'm officially jealous.

Yeah I wouldn't pay $1000 for the W995. I'd definitely look for a cheaper import.
I thought the W508 seemed pretty nice really. It didn't feel cheap or anything, and I'm quite a fan of the keypad. I'll get it for her birthday or something, although that W980 price is pretty tempting!

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool. Not going too far down the Motorola track while still doing a similar idea. They light up in cool colours too.

I wouldn't mind if they borrow some design cues from the RAZR V3 or the SLVR, just so long as both halves of their clamshell phones are the same length. That's what spoils the K1 styling IMO.

Agreed. That big slab on the end of the keypad ruins the thin phone effect and though I haven't tried one, it looks uncomfortable as hell!
